and tripping over a root!...Feather3's seaside daisy shot is my current Zen desktop background to gaze at...Feather's unique perspectives from the Mendocino Coast of Northern California are both beautiful and informative.

Who ever knew there was such a thing as bluff lettuce till Feather brought bluff lettuce and all these other coastal delicacies to the table!

How's your trip? I do hope you're having a great time! And lucky you! It looks like you managed to time your visit in a hurricane-less window of opportunity. It looked a bit iffy there for a bit!

Thanks for posting and yes, I did have a great time!!! No internet access while I was there so am now getting back on WU back at home in CA. Wish I could have just stayed there on the OBX till the next hurricane blew me off of the beach, lol! It was so relaxing and fun.

Yes, it did look a little iffy there for awhile but Ernie moved north just in time. Weather was great except for a couple of cloudy, light off and on rain days. I had not seen rain since last April so that was actually kind of nice. Went up to Corolla to see the Currituck light house on one of those days and enjoyed that very much also.

The food was fantastic...North Carolina style barbecue, Hatteras Clam Chowder and delicious crab cakes to pig out on, lol!
