Living in Michigan can be exciting. We can have every weather condition known to man happening in the State at one time.

Our snow is all gone but now we have rain, mud and foggy mornings. Today is extremely windy so that should dry up some of it. It is very gloomy and wet and the wind makes it even worse. We are expecting gusts up to 40 mph and our highest so far at the Owosso airport has been 36 mph.
We had a few days of record-breaking warmth but we knew that it couldn't last. I did manage to get out on my bike a few days during the "heat wave". Now we have to pay for it. Oh well, I guess it was worth it. I'm happy just to be rid of the snow and not have to put boots on every time I go outdoors.
This is what our forecast looks like:
This Afternoon: A 30 percent chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 38. Breezy, with a west wind around 25 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph.
Tonight: A chance of flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Breezy, with a west wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. North northwest wind between 5 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. East northeast wind between 3 and 5 mph.
I sure hope we don't have to wait too long for our next bout of warm weather. But we only have 2 more weeks before the Weather Service declares it to be Spring. I usually tell myself that even if we get a snowstorm, the snow won't last long. But I've been around long enough to know that isn't always true. The one good thing is that we aren't getting tornadoes yet.
