After a beautiful, sunny morning, we now have steady rain and flood warnings/watches. Our ground is saturated from the storms of last week, and many areas to our north are still under water. They certainly don't need the rain that is expected into tomorrow night.
The rain started about 5:30 PM and has continued since then. We had pea-sized hail at 6:00 PM which only lasted a few minutes. The rain has been moderate to heavy since it began, and we already have close to 0.5". Our radar is showing a lot more on the way.
Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Temperature rising to around 54 by 5am. North northeast wind 9 to 14 mph becoming southeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 10am. High near 73. Windy, with a south southwest wind 20 to 26 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Thursday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 52. Breezy, with a south southwest wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Friday: Rain showers likely before 5pm, then a chance of rain and snow showers. Some thunder is also possible. Cloudy, with a high near 54. Windy, with a southwest wind 20 to 29 mph, with gusts as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Friday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 8pm, then a slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
