Video and pictures of flooding
Posted by: cchamp6, 8:16 PM GMT on March 09, 2008 +1
We had 2.14 inches of rain in the Litchfield Connecticut area on friday night and saturday. Snow melt and rainfall has caused many rivers to flood.

I shot some video and took some photos today from the Housatonic River at Bulls Bridge. The city of New Milford is experiencing moderate flooding. The area where route 202 and route 7 intersect is flooded and roads are closed.

I also took some video at Kent Falls.

Cool videos. That water sure is moving swiftly. I have a few pictures of flooding along the Susquehanna River in my new blog along with a storm summary of the past winter storm.

I saw yours Blizz.

Charles,

What am I doing wrong? My video comes out so clear. After it goes through Photobucket it gets all murky.

Thank you for the nice comments. I am glad they are clear to someone. They just seem so much clearer on my computer, before I download them through photobucket.

Thank you for the great videos and pictures. When this last bout of snow melts we may have flooding here in Chatham in the low lying areas. It almost crested the last melt we had below the 5th St bridge... I am hoping for a slow melt but with temps going into the mid 40s the rest of the week, I am afraid some of the downtown core may see a bit of overflow.

Once again thanks for sharing.

Hope for the cold nights and warm days. The freeze thaw thing without heavy rain seems to be best.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello.
Don't know if you saw my post. That's Hadley Mt. NY. Very nice hike. I just posted a few pics from that same trip on my blog.
