The Ruby mountains are located in Northeastern Nevada, by the towns of Wells and Elko. They were named the Ruby mountains because of the garnets that used to be in the area. Yearly snow averages 10-15 feet! Know for spectacular wildflower displays in the spring.

Our travels first took us to Goff's where the annual 4Wheel drive Rendezvous takes place.

To many people, holy cow, looked like an RV park with some pretty high end RV's. And some very cool fixed up Jeep CJ6's and 7's. But we had a decent time, I don't think TNT liked to much since they had to be tethered most of the time. The Table

I know you have all been waiting to see the finished project ☺ Well here it is, the table!

I found the plans on the Internet (of course) it is called the X-console. It seems to be very popular, a simple design that actually came from the Pottery Barn. For our first piece simple is the way to go.

The wood is Home Depot, LOL! Doug fir 2 x 6 and 2 x4’s plus pine furring strips 2 x 2 and pine shelving 1 ...
