Blizzard of 2011 Report

I picked the Blizzard of 2011 to make the blog's first entry! Just ventured out onto the deck and in the yard to check out the incredible snowfall.

First flakes began falling at 5:15 AM and by 2:30 PM, we have 14" in several places out in the yard. Drifts already at between 21" and 25" were measured.

It is still snowing moderately, but it has slowed down quite a bit at the moment.
