Most of the state is under a moderate risk of severe weathertonight. A tornado watch is out for I-70 and north of the interstate. Main threats tonight are damaging winds/large hail/ and isolated tornadoes. And if there is a tornado coming you know what to do! If you are outside and see lightning or hear thunder...You know the phrase! "If you see it, flee it. If you hear it, clear it" And if you are in a car coming to high water...you know that phrase also! "Turn aro...

	Morning: Stormy Day: Great Night: Stormy once again...

The title explains it...This morning we started off with some storms with low winds but heacy down pours.But right now (6:44 pm EDT) it is a nice lightning and thunder show. I would estimate over 300 hundred strikes in Avon...Way more in the whole county. The winds are still calm like they were this morning...Right now the highest reading i have is about 17 mph; most likely when the storm rolled in. I should have some photos in later tonight.

I'm Alec. I am a teenager and i live in Avon, Indiana and i want to be a meteorologist when i grow up. I love the weather and thought that this site would be a great, new opportunity to start with. I will mostly blog about weather around my area. I have a weather vane so i can get data on storms. I hope you enjoy!
