Blizzard of "78

With one of the few remaining 11,000 "The Official Blizzard of '78 Snow Stick & Measure" snow yard stick measure in hand, measured 20 inches of snow southsouthwest of metro Boston some 28-35 miles south during this nor'easter that remained south of the benchmark, yet evolved into a massive offshore storm to batter the coast and cause heavy snow bands to come across southern New England in an early March '13 storm!

"The Official Blizzard of '78 Snow Stick & Measure" was created and distributed/sold throughout New England soon after the great Blizzard of '78 to enable folks to find the white painted snow measure yardstick with blue lettering depicting storm information to enable younger generations who might find 'The Official Blizzard of '78 Snow Stick & Measure" in Grammy closet and make inquiry and talk with folks about a storm which at least to date has had no other nor'easter meet all the criteria of the great Blizzard of '78!
