March 7, 2013 Whoa! What did I say yesterday? Indeed, it is not really Spring yet, so Winter added just a little layer overnight to prove it!
March 8, 2013 Another day, and the sun is able to turn the white back into ground.

Did you even have enough snow this year for it to do its great sliding trick, off the edge of the barn? I surely do hope you're going to get the moisture you need. There are some farmers and ranchers here and there who already are worrying about hay.
Oh, look at this! It won't be long before the box elder tree is in leaf. Well, maybe it will be a little long, but the time is coming.
Shore: You might like this. I got an email this Winter from the layout person at the University of Minnesota Alumni magazine asking if she could use a photo of the box elder tree. And, here it is!

Not as much snow as some years, about 40" for the season so far. We did have a good wet October last Fall, so that should help. It seems plenty wet across the pastures right now!
