Look at that! Real numbers made by a real human hand! I like that. I see you're right on the mist/snow line, too. Was it exciting to be in the path of a real, named winter storm last week? I just wish if TWC was going to name winter storms, they'd do better than Brutus, Xerxes and so on.
Hope all's well on the ranch. I'll have to go over to Flickr and see if there are new kitty pics. I've been mostly MIA, but I'm starting my new year resolutions early, including doing a better job of visiting around here. I'm still resisting Facebook, but I guess that wouldn't do me much better if I didn't read and post! ;)

I saw that storm name too! I didn't know that was a real name TWC was calling the storm, I thought it was just made up by the App I was using! It was mostly a dud of a storm here, lots of hype but only the 2" of snowfall I show in the obs form. Some places received a lot more, but it was a pretty spotty event.
Yeah, the form scan I posted is the
real data
, I have a couple of instruments that automatically record the daily temps, etc., but I still go to the "talking thermometer" every evening and jot down the report she speaks out for the day along with the other
human only
weather information that gets scribbled on the form. With all the computers I have sitting around here it is rather funny sometimes to realize I still like the "hard-copy" paper and calendar jottings the most! (I still like the feel of jotting down notes in to-do lists and summaries of a day's events. The pen making letters on the paper just feels good!).
I am still way behind in my image processing. I managed to load the last of my camera data into one of my computers today but I need to go through and do the renaming and some image editing before I post the images. I actually have done most of that for June through August, but I haven't uploaded anything to the Photobucket to post into the blogs yet. I'll probably make a note of when that happens in-case you are browsing through. My Flickr stream has been pretty stagnant too and I actually needed to reactivate an account to see more than a small subset of the images I have there. I hear you regarding
facebook
but I do normally browse through facebook at least daily and post an image from time-to-time that doesn't normally appear here.
All is well at the ranch and I hope all is well for you in the far south! I imagine you could relate to the hurricane problems that Sandy created for the east coast. Nothing that serious here; just winter!
