Well, Minot once again missed out on the precipitation. The predicted storm took a 150 mile jog to the south, sparing most of Northern North Dakota the wintry weather. We did get a nice shot of liquid precipitation last week, with .75" recorded at the airport. This still leaves us nearly an inch below normal for the year. April, however, is not showing us much of a change. Cool, dry NW flow will keep our area's weather mostly benign for the next 7 days. Longer range models indicate a possible storm toward the end of next week, but GFS typically over-emphasises these events, so we'll have to wait and see.
