I was busy and didn't have much time for pics, But I managed to get a few

Good Luck to all that find their way in the path of any storm that might affects their area, hopefully there will be none. I could post stuff that others already have, but i decided to just write how I feel. Anomolies are lowering in the EPAC which is looking to set up an El Nino pattern. While it means a lesser amount of tropical cyclones, it only takes one to change Millions of lives.
I saw some graphics that I will look up and post, but im pretty sure Gloria (85) and Belle (78) that affected Southern New England were born in an El Nino cycle. Couple that with the fact that we are well overdue (see graphic at bottom), and I come to the conclusion there is at least a 30% chance of a New England Storm. I would never wishcast but I wish the local media would do a better job of informing the public of the dangers, and preparedness. Millions of people have relocated to the northeast, and beachfront construction has exploded leaving tens of thousands of people at risk. A lot of these people Have absolutely no idea of how to prepare themselves for a hurricane, and probably dont even realize hurricanes can and do affect this region.
In closing, i am wishing those that are most vulnerable a safe season. And all remains calm.
God Bless,
Art

I'M Adding a new addition to my blog. "Song of the night". It will not be mainstream music. It will be songs by various artists that you may not have heard before. Some of it will be covers of songs that you already know. Hope you enjoy the tunes, I will pick one song per night. Who knows, you may find a new band to enjoy.

Thank you Emmy. I sponsored my neice a few years ago, and I plan on doing it next year.
The athletes that participate really are proud of their achievements and I, for one, truly admire them

awesome pics BT - several of my students in the theater school and resident company cast are involved with special olympics. In the school, on Tuesdays is MEDAL DAY - and man, you can hear their bling clanging as they walk down the hall to classes LOL

So proud of this organization

Hi Bug!! yes, Friday was a miserable day in CT. It started raining shortly after I left the house and got heavy as the day went on. Even though I do residential work, I still was soaked when I got home.
Weekend is good, but as always, too short. Hope you enjoy the pics, those athletes really put their all into what they do. my neice has been involved in the games for over 10 years.

Sounds like fun! I have a cousin who I wish would audition for the special Olympics, but I don't think she ever will. Have fun, and yes, take lots of pictures. I'd like to see them, if you put them up.

Going to be busy the next couple of days as I'm leaving for a summer term in college on Monday. Have a lot to do before then. Hope you're doing good.

No fun, working in the rain! Sorry you had to do that. You take care.

[[[mermaid]]] I will call you over the weekend..I promise!!! sorry for the delay, i've been going nuts lately..:-)

[[[Alley]]] Congrats on the completion of your projects. I redid this whole house inside AND outside when i was going to sell it. It was a lot of work, but gratifying upon completion.
It is a rotten day here in CT. Temps in the 50's low cloud deck and moderate to heavy rain all day. I no like working in weather like that...LOL. The weekend is going to be beautiful. Sunny skies and temps in the upper 70's.

Good evening Sunshine. Thanks for updating your blog. This is much faster and if I notice it, then those with regular DSL will also.

Seems the rain has finally passed for us for a few days. Spent the afternoon resting after all I put myself through over the last few days. Laying new carpeting, painting, and redecorating both my office and my bathroom. Both are done and I am very proud of how they turned out. As the contractor commented last night when he came to check my roof for hail damage, they are designer perfect...YEAH!!! Looks like I may get a new roof on both my house and garage after all. There is a lot of hail damage from the storm that went through here earlier this spring. Hey if I get a new roof, then this place will be like a new home...LOL

Been fighting off a nasty spring cold too. Hopefully that will come to an end soon.

Well dear ones, not much else new going on here, sun was shining today, grass was growing and all is well.

HUGS to you and Justin from an old Granny....
