Good Luck to all that find their way in the path of any storm that might affects their area, hopefully there will be none. I could post stuff that others already have, but i decided to just write how I feel. Anomolies are rising in the EPAC which is looking to set up an El Nino pattern. While it means a lesser amount of tropical cyclones, it only takes one to change Millions of lives.
I saw some graphics that I will look up and post, but im pretty sure Gloria (85) and Belle (78) that affected Southern New England were born in an El Nino cycle. Couple that with the fact that we are well overdue (see graphic at bottom), and I come to the conclusion there is at least a 30% chance of a New England Storm. I would never wishcast but I wish the local media would do a better job of informing the public of the dangers, and preparedness. Millions of people have relocated to the northeast, and beachfront construction has exploded leaving tens of thousands of people at risk. A lot of these people Have absolutely no idea of how to prepare themselves for a hurricane, and probably dont even realize hurricanes can and do affect this region.
In closing, i am wishing those that are most vulnerable a safe season. And all remains calm.
God Bless,
Art

I'M Adding a new addition to my blog. "Song of the night". It will not be mainstream music. It will be songs by various artists that you may not have heard before. Some of it will be covers of songs that you already know. Hope you enjoy the tunes, I will pick one song per night. Who knows, you may find a new band to enjoy.

Hi Art...

Just stopping in for a minute. I'm about to go download some pictures. I'll be on most the evening as it's raining here. I was hoping to have a late night walk on the beach, but the rain is supposed to be here most the night.

I guess the fires didn't make it to his house? Hope they didn't! I also heard that the smoke from it traveled all the way up towards Raleigh!

Hi Matt, yeah the fires are moving away from him but he said the smoke was very prevelant(sp). Crazy spring thus far. We even had to contend with brushfires up here, but not to the magnitude their getting down south

If you go to Myrtle Beach, maybe you can see some of the wildfire damage.

Hey Art. Great new pictures! Looks like spring has arrived for you. And did I read you back is acting up?? ...and a job offer in myrtle Beach?

Hi Blu!! Yes, spring has finally arrived. My back is killing me, I don't know how much longer my career will last. Very depressing, to see it end like this but it's better than a wheelchair.
The job offer in Myrtle Beach is a great one, It's a friend of mine he said he would help find me a decent place to live as well. But the work is heavier than what I do now. He has two trucks sitting there. Both his employees didn't work out and the work is more than he can handle. As you know, I just saved my home from foreclsure and dont know if i will be able to sell it right away, I have to have a lawyer look over the papers when I get them.

Thanks for the complements on my pics. That Tulip was growing in a customers back yard, It just caught my eye

Are we still asking stupid questions? I want to know why when I get a tax return it takes about 2 months for it to process- but when I have to pay them the check clears the bank in a week? LOL, I had to do booth this year- Had some stuff that got misreported for last year so I had to amend that year and pay- but then I get a refund for this year :)

How's that back of yours????

Well, I'd better get going. I'm almost ready to go; just have to clean the house, do a load or two of laundry and finish packing the last few things. Yeah! Then we leave at 7 am for DFW airport. (Just hoping I don't catch this Swine Flu)... =(

Art what you posted in my blog about you little girl is very interesting. When my son was that age he had the same thing happen. He had the convulsions and the high fever. You are gonna be suprised at the problem at least for him. We found he had horrible food allergies. His adnoids would swell up and then the fluid would drain back into his ear canals. This was before they put tubes in kid's ears for drainage. I would mention this to your wife. He has outgrown all the food allergies. The main problem for him was with wheat products, beef, pork and whole milk.
