Good Luck to all that find their way in the path of any storm that might affects their area, hopefully there will be none. I could post stuff that others already have, but i decided to just write how I feel. Anomolies are rising in the EPAC which is looking to set up an El Nino pattern. While it means a lesser amount of tropical cyclones, it only takes one to change Millions of lives.
I saw some graphics that I will look up and post, but im pretty sure Gloria (85) and Belle (78) that affected Southern New England were born in an El Nino cycle. Couple that with the fact that we are well overdue (see graphic at bottom), and I come to the conclusion there is at least a 30% chance of a New England Storm. I would never wishcast but I wish the local media would do a better job of informing the public of the dangers, and preparedness. Millions of people have relocated to the northeast, and beachfront construction has exploded leaving tens of thousands of people at risk. A lot of these people Have absolutely no idea of how to prepare themselves for a hurricane, and probably dont even realize hurricanes can and do affect this region.
In closing, i am wishing those that are most vulnerable a safe season. And all remains calm.
God Bless,
Art

I'M Adding a new addition to my blog. "Song of the night". It will not be mainstream music. It will be songs by various artists that you may not have heard before. Some of it will be covers of songs that you already know. Hope you enjoy the tunes, I will pick one song per night. Who knows, you may find a new band to enjoy.

The windows are opened today!! What a nice Spring day here along the Connecticut shoreline. Temps heading for the low to mid 80's with low humidity and a light breeze.
Ahh... Sounds pleasant! Make sure to get outside and enjoy it, if you haven't already ;)

You guys are funny! LOL....I shouldn't be reading this blog with all this crazy stuff about my kind! =) And Chuck, most women want just one man and that's IT. They want to be the only woman in a man's life and would feel VERY betrayed if you had more than just them. =) Just saying from a woman's point of view.
What if I don't want a one man woman?

Oh good! I was hoping for better weather for you. We've been really hot here lately, and I don't see it cooling off any time soon. But I like it in the morning when the cool breeze brushes across my face while I work in the garden. I hope you have a good day...I'm guessing you'll read this tomorrow. (Or today rather. I'm up late and need to get to bed).

Have a good one...(I did have fun tonight, btw).

My two cents worth are referring to post 209-211.
At work, our research and development team built this cost effective" cheap" prototype.
It consist of two paper clips and a long rubber band. Attach each clip to opposite ends of rubber band. Bend to make a fish hook. Place hook in mouth left side. Then gently pull behind ones head the rubber band and other hook to place other hook into right side of mouth. For all day long customer satisfaction and perfect company moral issues.

Charles you reminded me of a joke:
FIVE RULES FOR MEN TO FOLLOW TO A HAPPY LIFE:

1. It's important to have a woman, who helps at home,
who cooks from time to time, cleans up and has a job.

2. It's important to have a woman, who can make you
laugh.

3. It's important to have a woman, who you can trust
and who doesn't lie to you.

4. It's important to have a woman, who is good in bed
and who likes to be with you.

5. It's very, very important that these four women
do not know each other.
LMFAO!

OMG That's probably the best group of answers I have EVER had to ANY questions LOL!!!

Quoting AuntBrooke:
Now that is a funny one! LOL.... What if you find a girl that likes all of them?

What if I don't want just one? hehehehe guess that can be the silly followup to the silly question XD

Wait till you have kids... You'll be so tired you can sleep through anything :)

Yeah, but I think that's when sleeping lightly will come in handy, you know? Because if they call for "mommy" then I'll hear them! And that's what I really want; to be a "mother" to my kids, if I ever get married. =) But I'm sure you're right, I just hope I have an ear to hear them if they call for me.

I never can wrap my mind around someone sleeping through an alarm clock. I'm a light sleeper, and wake up (most the time) to almost any noise. But I still like coffee to wake me up in the morning and I hope there aren't any bugs that want to wipe out the beans!

Being a light sleeper has it's pro's and it's cons....sometimes I wish I wouldn't be such a light sleeper. But it's good, when I babysit or something, I can hear when the kids get up or whatever. Or if a storm is blowing in, I can hear it coming. You never know when being a light sleeper is going to come in handy.

why can't I plant my cucumber next to my cantaloupe? Will they cross-pollinate. Will I end up with cucumber/melon mutants? And would they taste good? :)

For a more real answer, if I may, I believe it has to do with the bugs that like both plants. They attract the same kind of bugs and also they will counter act each other instead of encouraging each other. Does that make sense? My dad is a master gardener here in Texas and he told me all this!!!!

Here's a really silly question for ya Art..

Ok, let's say I have 4 really good looking women that all like me and say I have to choose between them, one loves weather, one loves metal music, one loves photography and the other loves NASCAR, and they all have money.... what do I do?

Now that is a funny one! LOL.... What if you find a girl that likes all of them?

Hi Art...just got in from buying a new computer. It was supposed to be for the business, but then Dad decided to give it to me and he'd take mine! What a deal!!!! =)

And what's the life span of a tree?

Cucumber/melon mutants. sounds like the heads of some of the people I know.

Some of the oak tree species can live 500 years. It mainly depends on what trees.
