Battles and Blunders

The fighting in St. Augustine was fantastic on Saturday. Captain Searle sacked the town with his English "Privateers" and in return for not burning it down, we got 40 cows???! They promised us Silver!

The weather was wonderful, no rain till 3am meant our powder stayed dry, and plenty of time for food and song after the fighting.

The rain that came is still a blessing to the Florida Peninsula.

How can it be 36 degrees now, when it wasn't that cold yesterday, and today is forecast to be "much warmer"?
