Beach and River

Rain Rain come again

We have had 2 beautiful days of sunny mid 80 degree days this week. It is a nice break after The weekends nie-continuous drizzle.
However our Lakes are still 2 feet low. Florida's East side is only moderatly dry as compared to the still drought ravaged pan handle and Tamp area. Even with all the recent rain adding to soil moisture, the rivers are not flowing. Most are reading well below their lower 20th percentile in average CFS flow or Q.
It also looks like Florida's temperatures are reading normal for this time of year as opposed to the rest of the nation that is way to hot in the East and to cold in the west.
The jet stream is supposed to get right today and fix that.
If I does, it may pull some the large 94 L our way and give Florida another drink.

Rain Rain, come and stay... won't you come back another day too.

It rained patchily to heavily ALL weekend. We still need more and more, even with the local flooding.
Looks like over 4 and 5 inces for weekend totals in many places.
