Almost all of Klickitat County lost power on Thursday, Jan. 19.
Glenwood and Trout Lake were the last communities to have power restored last night around 6:30.
There are still about 1,000 homes throughout the county, needing line and power pole work before they will be back online.

I have a total of 44 inches snow dating from Jan. 15th.
It has settled and melted.
Yesterday I measured two feet of solid packed snow and ice.
I wish I had a way to measure the water content. I think I am going to buy a hand measure rain/snow gauge.

To everyone who was worried about our snow pack and complained about this winter being boring....I hope you are happy now.It started with 14 inches of snow on the 17th. Then more snow. Then ice. Most of Klickitat County is without power and a large portion of Hood River County. Glenwood lost their power Thursday afternoon the 19th.The damage to power lines and trees is extensive.

I would have to say this is genuine snowfall. Started about 9:30 this morning. With no cap on the mountain yesterday, I was sure there was no moisture coming in. img src="">
