....er, make that A-Peeling.
I've got more flakes than Kellogg's, and I swear that's no joke. My poison oak rash is peeling like crazy, like a really bad sunburn might. This is the second round of peeling. Last week I peeled off most of my face and neck. It's all coming off again... I think I'm running out of skin.
On the other hand, if I finally do finish this skin refreshment (I hope that's what's happening here!) maybe the itching will stop.
Anyone out there have any ideas about how long this beautiful phase of recovery from major poison oak might take?

To do that, though.... I had to clean everything I touch with alcohol, then with soap and water. Twice.
I had to replace all my lipstick, ChapStick too, because I was giving myself more rash (having gotten them polluted with poison oak). Then I had to toss my bicycle helmet and all of my bike gloves, replace my camera strap, and even my biking shoes. All of this because I was unable to remove the oils from the poison oak from the soft surfaces without ruining my stuff.
So far, it's cost a pretty penny... between the prescription and non-prescription creams/sprays/shots/doctor visits and replacing all my gear.
No deer trails in my immediate future!
For Ghanson -- the Bay Area misses you too ;) I hope you get settled in enough to enjoy Florida... though someone should have told you that the mosquito seems to be the state bird down there ;)
