As stated in my last post on the old blog, I had a very nice blog fixed up, based on a wonderful new cam I found of Mt. Fuji. However, the cam won't work on the blog, despite my best efforts. With that, you all get a plain blog, instead! (^-^)

Good evening! After a mostly drizzly day, the clouds are breaking up, leaving everything muggy! Supposed to stay in this low 70s- to -upper 80s with scattered stuff off and on for the next week!

New blog tonight, if work allows!

GG, hopefully, the new blog will solve the slowness issue! You'll just have to see!

Tony, I'm afraid the coolness we had today was only temporary! :( We'll be back in the steambath tomorrow!

Good morning Ylee.
I hope the rain didn't make it feel hotter that it is.
We've cooled down considerably with the rain we've been having.
Enjoy your day.

Good Morning, it's hot at Positano and the beach sand looks wet. It is actually pleasant here. Am waiting for spouse to wake up so we can get outside while it is still pleasant. Syd, Roxie or both take to caterwalling if I go outside and that makes for a grumpy person woken up too early.

Good morning! Weathersticker says thunderstorms for Lewisport, but the radar, and my eyes, says not yet! Looks like we're going to get some in the next 36 hours, though! If nothing else, it'll keep the temps down!

Cams look OK, except for the poor guy who's stuck in the kitchen! :' ) Will actively start on the new blog today; hopefully, I'll have it up by Monday morning!

Good morning! I'm back! Despite 110+ heat indices almost every day, I managed to get all my outdoor projects done! Looks like the hot'n humid weather pattern will continue for awhile, as the extended forecast calls for more of the same!

Cams all look OK, at first glance; Three deer, folks in a small boat, donkeys, zebras, rain in Thailand and Mille Lacs, nice in Milos and Positano, one kitchen worker on OT(They have an extension cord hanging from the ceiling! Really?) OK, the resturant cam is stuck.......

Hopefully, I'll have a new blog up by Tuesday morning! I have a theme in mind, but don't know if I can pull it off!

Cal, have you ever thought of training TnT to surf? :' )

Good morning, Pros! Hope you've kept cool this week!

ycd, that's a good catch! Wonder why there's no lions or elephants there?

GG, maybe the coon is on the deeer's head! "My corn! Get off my turf!" ;' )

Briar, I would hope that it's a very large black snake! But WTS is probably right!

Oz, spring sounds so far away while we braise in the August weather! :P Have to get through fall and winter first, though! Glad it's nice there!

Leaving again, Sandi? Will Max forget who you are? :' )

WTS, I'm not sure about quality time, as I was busy the entire time I was off! :( 99's not too bad, if you have dry heat! Low 90s, with an 80+ dewpoint, bites!

5 zebras! Still cloudy on the Savana, but it looks very dry. Monsoooons must be just teasing Campi Ya Kanzi.

Now that I got that third mole, some critter has taken over a portion of the mole run. There is now an oblong hole that has been cleared of all loose dirt. The hole measures 3 x 4 inches. I set up my wildlife cam, so in a day or three the mystery will be solved. Care to venture a guess?

I count 8 swans at the bridge cam! They must see tourists with food :)

Even though your weather is getting hot you have had quite a nice summer for the most part!! I would take it. We have that huge hurricane spinning off the Baja but all we are going to get is some very high surf, 12-15' high, surfers are excited I bet!

The Shibura cam is amazing at night! Everything's lit up! You can see the pedestrian traffic lights; green, of course, means go, but a flashing red light means caution, and a constant red means stop. Don't know where the lights are for motorized traffic are.

Folks are getting out on a sailboat at Potter Heigham, more folks on the beach at Milos, rainy in Thailand, a zebra laying down(I guess we'll see if there are lios or hyenas about!), no donkeys.

I'd bet the Panasonic would get quite the workout at Milos, wouldn't it, Sandi? :' )

GG, there's as many right pedestrians now on a Sunday evening as it has been at any time before, maybe fewer cars. Of course, this is in a major metropolitan area!

Dakotah getting a break? Ain't sayin'! ;' )

Good Morning, there are a bunch of swans ( a cygnet?) at the bridge. The streaming Japan can is wild. Watched that the other night. How on earth are there so many people wandering around a downtown area on a Saturday afternoon? Read chapter 5. Good writing but is that poor kid ever going to catch a break?

Mines:
No biggy as long as you pay attention to the red stakes that delineate the swept paths.
Tloml has landed - I got here last night and this morning ran the bedsheets through a wash and dry cycle.
Sat around knowing that her ride had landed at YVR and waiting for a phone call for a pickup time. Finally Daughter#1 (who was flying with Tloml) phones at about 1400 and tells me Tloml will be on the next float plane landing here at 1530.
I wandered down there and brought her back home, made up the bed after listening to parts of her story of the trip.
They say that jet lag is not so bad flying west but Joan Baez figured yer soul can only make 40 mph so it takes a while to catch up with you if you want to rush about the world:

Good evening! Had 1.5" of rain last night, with intense lightning! Fortunately, we kept our power! Today was awful, as a low 80s dewpoint caused the heat index to close in on 120F! Going to work, I could see what looked like rain about a mile ahead, only to find out it was hust the amount of moisture in the air! Got another good storm after I arrived here, don't know how much we got out of that.

Cams are pretty slow, just a couple of guys in the kitchen, and a guy standing in the street at Chiang Rai! Nice sunset at Hyrum dam!

Mines? YCD, do they cover this stuff on the Travel Channel? Yipes!

Tony, I'd take 61 for a low right now! Even a 61 dewpoint!

Not too wet, Sandi, as the ground is soaking up all the rain(and converting it to grass, which is set into overdrive!), but definitely too hot! It's supposed to start getting better in a week; we shall see!

And yet another person bragging about their cool weather! Thanks, WTS! :' ) Of course, the way the weather's been here, I wouldn't be surprised if we had a frost within a month!

INTERSECTIONS:
We wandered around Siam Reap and watched the traffic . Cairo was worse. It all seemed to flow so we rented a 250 Honda and drove out to other antiquities - at one point we heard a mine detonate in a village up ahead and at another we rode off the end of a bridge into a large hole which snapped off the hand controls as we landed. There were few intersections out there if I recall correctly - just some land mines and other holes in the road caused by B52.
