I live and work in metropolitan Lewisport, KY. I like webcams, through which I can see the whole world!

Still smoggy in HongKong, more snow in Spindleuv, the cyclone is really hitting Brisbane, but it is a beautiful morning in Milos!
Good morning gang!!
Sure is quiet in here!!
Brisbane looks much better today! Some severe flooding in Queensland and New South Wales haven't heard current news so don't know yet how bad it has got.
Fat Albert and family at the feeder. Lots of the others look like they're having some nasty weather. Yech.
A few elk grazing in the snow as dusk settles in at Jackson Hole. That Elk Refuge is right on the edge of town, by the way.
Hope you're having a good 4 days off, Ylee!
Four days off, huh? Good for you. I'm trying to round back into shape - the holidays and winter-short days mean fewer hours. Now that I can get back at it for a full eight or nine hours (with luck) I've been coming home really tired. But this week seems better. ;)
Brisbane looks nice.
Feeder cam is uninhabited at the moment.
Hope you're enjoying your time off.
Cams look OK. I'll have a new blog up by the end of the week; all I need is a new cam from Europe, and a new cam from Asia, and it'll be ready!
Bug, yes, you, lol! This has been a bad weather week for almost everyone! Mud and puddles are everywhere here!
Janet, that sounded rough in your neck of the woods, especially since ya'll don't have the winter road equip they do up north! We were ready as could be expected for last week's freezing rain, but the road were still slick for the morning commute, and schools were closed!
That's me, Sandi, a glutton for punishment(and a decent paycheck, too, lol)!
Going to the USVI twice in the spring, Trauma? That's awesome! Have a great time while the rest of us slog away with our dreary lives! ;' )
Hi, GG! I've seen the Spindl cam in the summer, and it still looks inviting! It's obviously a fun place to go; they have ATV's to rent! :')
Hi, Oz! Outside of WU, we don't get much news of what's going on weather-wise about other parts of the world! :( Heck, most of the time, the weather news here is pushed aside over whatever foolishness is going on in Washington and Hollywood! :P
Briar, I think the elk refuge is as much tourist attraction as it is refuge! At least the folks at the Rustic Inn are taking advantage of it!(And so are we, lol!)
"Now that I can get back at it for a full eight or nine hours (with luck) I've been coming home really tired."
Ya think, Shore? That would poop out a person 1/3 your age! Too much work and no play makes Shore(and ylee, calling the kettle black) a dull yahoo! :' )
Thanks!
WunderGirl12
Dreary looking at the Elk Refuge.
Fat Albert and friends stocking up at the feeder cam. I fully expect them to get so fat they lose their ability to walk, hop and leap. They'll just lie there, eating corn like bon bons.
Pretty cool!
Coyote and fox bon bons, who'da thunk, bug? :' )
Yeah, Rob, the lights from the buildings are lighting up the clouds, giving the scene a dramatic look! Pretty cool!
Lights are no longer on the Stanislaus tree; wonder if they'll take it down soon?
Always good to know you are somewhere around here. Gunther just arrived so I should go find some cigarettes.
Enjoy your night.
Ycd, does Gunther=work=cigs, or is Gunther the type that always bums cigs? :' ) Or both, lol!
Have a good night, Tony, and stay out of trouble while the Queen's at work! :' )
Time to go home! Be back tomorrow!
Anyway hope your safe and reasonably dry. I see a lot of severe flooding in the East along with that devastating tornado that hit Adairville, GA. So sad.
Well time for a coffee and maybe something sweet for dessert after my roast beef dinner.
Keep safe dear ones.
Front has passed here too, and I can already feel the cold! I noticed the tree was gone, too. Must have heard me talking earlier, lol!
Take care!
Those night time views of the cams are kinda cool, when there's lights twinkling.
Feeder cam's deserted but some folks are coming down the street at the China cam. Maybe they're shopowners, coming to open up for the day.
I see they have a new salt block in the feeder cam. Squirrels and even a bunny is visiting the corn feast. I could just see having it here. The crows would be keeping everyone else away as they prance around thinking they own yard. LOL
Hope you have a great day and stay warm.
It's pretty at Milos this morning, too. And it's pretty here. Hope it's pretty where you are and that your day goes well!
Haven't checked the Glitch cams, but the others look OK, albeit cloudy! Will try to do some scouting later!
Bug, have you seen the street cleaners that show up at the China cam at about 6AM local? If I remember, they brooms and mops, and everything is done via manual labor!
Alley, I'd like to do a feeder cam too, along with a "back of the farm" cam, but I don't have the resources for such an undertaking! Maybe someday!
Shore, I'm glad it's pretty there; the only thing pretty here is that it's pretty cold, lol!
Take care!
Both.
However, nowadays I don't get much done by myself. Gunther has worked with me for more than 20 years and is still willing to put up with me. He quit buying tobacco some years ago but I can't expect a "reformed" smoker to
ride with me smoking in the cab and not have the urge to light one up.
In fact I admire the fact he can smoke with me and not fall back into the easy trap to buy a pack now and then.
Janet, hope you liked the warm temps from earlier in the week; they are long gone for the time being!
Mornin', Todd!
ycd, why should Gunther have to buy tobacco, when all he has to do is visit you? :' )
Time to go home! Be back tomorrow night!
I hit the jackpot!
there are 6 now and maybe another in the shadows ..
WHOA hit the jack pot !!! 8 deer at the feeder ..
Snow gone in Stanislas and sunset in Milos. The odd fat little squirrel at the feeder and nothing much else.
Hope you are OK and not working too hard!
When my DDD (dear departed Dad) felt nostalgic for the Old Country he would play this song and tell tales of hitch-hiking from Ontario to Banff Park during The War Years. Thanks for the memory,
since all the cams are sort of quiet here I have been visiting your archives. I LOVE that you have left them instead of deleting at the end of their run.
Looks as if its time to start looking around for a few more dogs tonight :) suppose to be a cold one...
take care
Going to try to find the last cam tonight for the new blog. If I find it early enough, I'll get the new blog up tonight. If not, it'll be tomorrow!
Six deer at the feeder cam at the moment!
Wab, bug: don't know if the cold temps have an influence on them, but the deer have decended on the corn in force! Or maybe it's the new salt block? Don't remember seeing a cat before; maybe it's looking for a bon bon! :' )
Sandi, I'm always working too hard! Okay, maybe that was a little fib! Alright, that was a big fat one, lol!
Hi, Shen! Good to see you around! I'm always glad when I post a cam that connects with someone! I'll bet those were some great stories!
Happy February, Janet! No dogs here, just an electric heater cranked up wide open! :' ) The old blogs are a useful tool to me, as I re-use the HTML from the old blogs whenever I use the cam again in a new one!
Coon at the feeder!
Found my last cam; now to put the blog together!
Be back tonight!
Wow something is up at Stanislas. Crowd of about 200 with flags/signs. At least 15 visable cops. Hope it's a ground hog day celebration.
Happy third year Ylee.
I spotted something last night that, the closest I could guess, was a rabbit. It didn't look like the 'cat' from the night before and I thought I could see big ears. I couldn't get a good look and it didn't move around. The next thing I knew, it was gone. So, no valid ID on that one, either. I can't imagine why a rabbit would be out at that time of night, though.
Looking forward to the new blog and seeing what cams you've selected for us this time.
Apparantly I was a day ahead of myself, since I thought today was the 3rd! Silly me! Tomorrow will be my 2nd anniversary!
janet, Sandi, ycd, and GG, I figured one of you eagle eyes would notice my goof!
Tried to find out what all the fuss was in Place Stanislas, but no info was to be had! From what little I've read, there seems to be some sort of protest often there, so who knows?
Don't remember seeing a rabbit there before, bug, but I'm not sure. Wouldn't be surprised!
Hong Kong's pretty cool, but I wouldn't want to visit there, especially with the smog!
