Ghostly Greetings!
Happy Halloween, Bogon! Nice picture! 6"-8"? It's not even November yet! Hope this isn't a precursor of things to come!
Haven't posted the last few times I've peeked in here but figured it was time I wished you:
Happy Halloween!
Staying over four; being Halloween, this ought to be fun! :)
Happy Halloween dear ones
Going home early! Hate to miss out on all the fun, but home beckons! :) Might not be back until Saturday; everyone take care!
Happy Nov 1st dear one. Have a great day.
Then the leaves are whirling fast."
- Sara Coleridge
Good morning Ylee. My leaves are doing double duty, they have transformed into November greetings.
White Rabbits x3
Hi Ylee.
Thanks for the Hallloween greetings on my blog.
We had a tiny bit of frost on the roof tops this morning so I guess winter has offically arrived in these parts.
Say "Hello" deer!!!
the fall colors also make for a good look
I have lost track about whether you are working or not... So I wish you a very happy weekend, whatever is on the cards:-)
Milos update, from their website:"Attention ! The router and the modem must be changed, the webcam will start upon the 29. november, sorry !" Really? Four weeks to get a router and modem? They must have it delivered by a slow boat from China! :)
Work begins on a new blog, to be posted by the end of the week! No theme in mind so far!
Hi,Alley! I see the cows are at it again! If I was them, and those cows kept breaking in, I'd settle for some ribeyes, or a brisket! :)
Good morning, Tony!
Belated, white rabbits back, Pros! Our leaves have been whirling for a couple weeks now, leaving "leaf drifts" along the edge of the driveway!
Mornin', Todd! Glad you survived! :)
BF, I think OK cattle are a little leaner, aren't they? :)
Hi, Janet! I thought American youth dressed wierd! Is that a guy or a girl sitting on the ledge?
Frost neans winter for you? I think you need a little snow to confirm it! :)
Might be getting some rain soon...
It is easier to cook up a comment when you are around the blog. 'Course this morning my cooker seems to be broken.
My instructions last night were:
"Take tomorrow off so you can help out around here."
It's soon to be winter so I will order the sheet metal for the roof and try to figure out how to flash the stone chimney - maybe just build a wooden Chase around it. About 10C. and mist here
You have a regular schedule?
I never noticed!
Hope you have a good weekend.
Hi, ycd! My cooker has a burnt element about half the time, too~ :) The only advice I can give about flashing and roofing is don't spare the roof cement! :)
Alley, those cows have a nose for corn, it seems! I think that black calf and its mom are repeat customers!
I do have a regular schedule, Rob! Two dayshifts, followed by two nightshifts, followed by four days off! HR gives us a full sized shift calendar every year! Otherwise, I'm here on OT!
I mentioned somewhere that I had a real shock when I came home. My neighbor has her Christmas wreath hung already. Gack! I know we're past Halloween, but just barely. Back in The Old Days, no one put up a lick of Christmas stuff until after Thanksgiving. I'm all in favor of that - but of course, I'm getting old and crotchety and mostly am not "with it" at all any more!
Had a wonderful trip, and just need to get myself settled otherwise so I can share a bit of it. There was a lion trainer to go with the elephant - what's not to like about that?
ADD: I liked your comment about the NWS channel. On the other hand, government funding means government management, and the inability of FEMA to deliver water until Monday is a bit curious. Just for your amusement, here's their solicitation of bid. It's a .gov site, so it should be ok for you.
The link you provided shows a blank white screen; may be an issue with the Glitchamatic.
Another issue with the "NWS Channel" is the inevitable politics that would go with it; for example, would the channel have an opinion on the GW debate, and who would have a say in their opinion, Republicans, or Democrats?

We are celebrating Bonfire night here.... Flash, bang, whizzzzz!
Ah, Guy Fawkes' Night! Try keeping your banging and whizzing to a minimum, Sandi! Remember, you're still recovering! :)
Not only does it feel cold here the ground is now white.
It's time to change my responce to the question " How are you" when I meet someone from still on the greenside to still on the white side.
Have a good shift.
Time allowing, I'll be jumping into scouting for the new blog with both feet! As long as I don't land in a cow patty, I'll be fine! :)
Good morning, Tony! Well, for now, I'm still on the greenside! :) I'll let you know when I'm on the whiteside! :)
Anyway dear one, have a great day. Catch you a bit later when I check to see if the 4 legged brownies are back at the feeder..LOL
Looks like the best spot today via webcam is Thailand
You still have green out your way! Our grass is now mostly brown especially in the shady spots.
Hi, Alley! No bovines today! :) I just realized that the clock in the Shack needs to be set back! That ought to tell you how much I look at it, lol!
Janet, the green in our yard is mostly weeds! Come to think of it, that's what usually grows during the summer, lol!
If I have a chance, I'll finish scouting for cams tonight, and do the new blog tomorrow night!
Tell me about it, Todd! I still have 9 1/2 hours to go! :P
Anyway, have a great shift. At least you can't complain its too hot on the floor....We probably will see a bit of frost as well before morning.
Time to go vote and go home; think they'll let me use a blindfold and some darts on the ballot? :)
