I live and work in metropolitan Lewisport, KY. I like webcams, through which I can see the whole world!

Been chilled to the bone today so will be making it an early night. Hope I am not coming down with a cold.
Have a safe one dear friend. Keep warm too.
Well, that and Sandy of course.
Alley, there is a cam in NJ that shows NYC, but it wouldn't load on the old junker! :( Of course, there are the streaming Earthcams of NY Harbor, and ofthe Statue of Liberty!
Hope you stay well and warm!
ycd, I kept the Bangkok cam since it brought you back good memories! There's a blogger with the handle Corfu that has vacation rentals there; he posts every once in awhile.
Your friend has an adventurous spirit to go camping in this weather!
Janet,(from the last blog) hope nothing gets damaged by mean 'ol Sandy! This whole week is supposed to be a cold one for us here; maybe it won't last as long for you!
Finally had to turn the heat up one turn to take the chill away. I guess just too much dampness. Will see if I can find some MOT cams of NYC that may work on here. Those usually can handle a decent blow before going out.
Have a good one Ylee, get your rest, stay warm and stay well.
The only cam I can see is Maryland, and it looks wild and wet under the street lights!
16 hour shift! Enjoy a good sleep!!!
Only 14 hours and 50 minutes to go!!
I must say, I have never witnessed so many states acting so earnestly in the preparations for dangerous weather. That's good.
I wish I could send all on the East coast our weather, sunny and mild!!!
Having trouble loading the Ocean City Md., cam; it may be my computer, or heavy traffic on their server, I'm not sure. All the other cams are dark except the Bangkok cam, which is showing a lot of boat traffic on their Monday morning!
Alley, I watched the streaming Earthcam of New York Harbor, and didn't see much in the order of swells!
I could use a nap, myself! :)
Hi, Sandi! I have! Oy! :)
Hi, GG! This storm will surely put the utility companies to the test! I'm sure our local co-op are already gathering resources to head to the NE to pitch in!
ycd, I'm sure high tide will be quite unwelcome there the next couple of days! :(
Hi, Trauma! You're doing the 16 thing, too? I've done that four times in the past week, myself!
Pros, I hope you're spared from any electricity outage! I have seen such skies before, usually after storms have passed!
Take care!
Cal, I hope they clear all the homeless out of the tunnels in NYC; they could easily drown if the storm surge is as bad as forecast!
gonna be about 39 here in the morning too...hard to imagine there is a super hurricane churning north of the carolinas when we are looking at frost on the ground in FLORIDA!!
Most of the frozen stuff showing on the radar above is up in the air, although one town in the mountains of West Virginia is getting some mixed precip!
Hey ho, it's Monday, and another week begins!
Morning Ylee, and Trauma:-)
Yup, The Bangkok and the feeder cam will have to do in a pinch, Trauma! :)
Good morning, Sandi! Actually, I posted this info the other day, but replaced that blog with the FrankenSandy blog the same day, I think!
It's technically my Thursday... :)
Bangkok has the pelicam!!
Hope the Ylee crew has a great day....and if you live north of the Carolinas or East of Illinois....wear a raincoat!!
Trauma, and everyone else, I'll see you tonight!
Definitely stormy at Brigantine Beach. OnTheBeach.cam at Ocean City NJ looks to have some storm surge making it's way over a berm and into a parking area. Frankenstorm for sure. Here's hoping it doesn't create too much mayhem for folks on the eastern seaboard.
Feeder cam remains down; hope everything is OK with those folks!
The cams opertional at the moment are the two West Virginia cams and the Thai cam! Looks like Sandy did a number on the rest of them! :(
My trip's been fine, but I guess I'd better start heading south tomorrow. I'm not ready to stop vacationing, but I'm almost to the point where, if I have to go home, I want to do it! LOL
have a good evening - don't let any nasty weather into your state!
Cleanup along the East Coast is going to be bad. So sad we lost the beautiful Bounty to Sandy today off the coast of NC. Captain still missing and his mate was later found but could not be resusitated. Fourteen others were saved by valiant rescuers.
Prayers for all who are feeling the wrath of this storm in her many forms.
Ylee, pls be careful going home in the AM. Roads could be bad in your area. Thinking of you and yours.
Eastern Ky. may be getting some snow in the higher elevaions, but I'm about 250 miles away from that action! :)
Alley, thanks for the update! What was the capt. of the Bounty thinking by tempting a hurricane?
Roads are high and dry here, and will be so for the next few days! Sandy is only giving us a litte wind, nothing more!
Alley said it right - this thing is a mess!
Images on the BBC news here this morning are heart breaking.
Goodness knows how long it will take to clean up and recover. I do know after our floods of 2007 it took eighteen months to get back to normal in Sheffield!
Sandi, your 2007 floods must've been bad, if they were worse than the one this summer! :(
Alley, looks like you're going to get a good shot of Sandy's wrath! Hope not!
Be back tomorrow morn! Everybody have a good day!
Keep safe everyone.
Hi Ylee - :-)
Brought back the melange redeux blog; most of the cams in the FrankenSandy blog were inoperative, anyway! Will start on the new blog Saturday!
Milos is still down; I remain hopeful they will get that cam back online soon, so it can come back to the blog where it belongs!
Hi, Tony!
Hi, Alley! All we got from Sandy was some clouds! Glad you were spared!
Trauma, enjoy your time off!
Hi, Janet!
Hi, Sandi! Hopefully people there can get their lives in order, in short order!
GG, Happy Halloween! Can't see the graphic though, even in Glitch mode! :(
Mom says she got six or eight inches of snow at her house. The storm has almost ended in North Carolina. Only the northwestern corner still has snow falling. The whole state has cooler weather today as a result of flow around the backside of Sandy's circulation. Jack Frost may visit Friday morning!
Ghostly Greetings!
