I live and work in metropolitan Lewisport, KY. I like webcams, through which I can see the whole world!

I'll be fine, Rob!(You slipped in while I was typing!) I'm indoors all day!
Mornin', Todd!
We are still warm & now sunny. It is going to change with Sandys passing. Like you said "tis that time of year". However right now we still have the a/c going.
be safe..
Same image there, not updating.
Canyonlands cam is showing perfect weather, unlike here! :P If I have time, I'm going to give the Fiji cam the boot!
Janet, you're time's acomin'! :) I saw somewhere that West Viginia could get 8-10 inches of snow! I'm glad I don't live in the mountains!
Safe is boring! ;-)
Rob, I checked the website too; I usually do that first when I see a cam's gone down, to see if it's the cam owner's problem, or a WU or Glitchamatic problem!
Sorry you had a rough day.
Hope tomorrow is better for you!
Be back tomorrow! Everyone have a good night!
Rob, me too! :)
GG, maybe the monkeys would like some butter beer! :)
Have a good night Ylee!
I'm out.
It looks like my halogen light burnt out. I guess they don't like snapping on in the cooler weather.
Enjoy the night.
Earlier, the Monture cam was showing a setting moon! Pretty cool! The Styra and Bangkok cams are behaving themselves this morning, so that's a good thing!
Saw this note on the Milos website: "Attention ! Devices have been destroyed during a thunderstorm. We are working! Asking for some patience !" Glad it's just a hardware problem! It'll be interesting if any changes come to the optics or the view once the work is complete!
If time allows, I may suspend this blog, and do a "Frankensandy" blog. We'll see!
Hi, Rob! Hope you had a good night!
Good morning, Tony! Here at work, we have several halogen bulbs that have loose wiring, so when the light is on, the bulb heats up, the contacts expand and come apart, and the bulb goes out! When it cools, the contacts come back together, and the light comes on again!
I've been meaning to comment but usually when I check the Cams the last comment is yours and it says something like: "See you in 20."
T'would be timely to put up cams showing places along Sandy's route.
We have light driz at about 8C. Wind ESE maybe 6kn. I'm watching because we are taxiing a young fella I work with over to the other island with his lady and step daughter later this morning. Wind Warning up for this aft.
We rode a ferry on the Chao Phraya and a couple in and out of Greece. The Cams bring back good memories:
We hopped on a ferry from Corfu to Venice and did not take a cabin imagining we could sleep in the Pullman seats for a night. The next morning I looked out expecting to see the Italian coast. Nope - the Adriatic Sea is much bigger than I figured or the boat was slower so we had another night aboard. Nobody was comfortable in the Pullmans so we had slept on the floor. We somehow captured a couple of lounge chairs on the back deck and slept on them the next night. However: depending on the wind direction a diesel boat does not always leave it's soot behind. A lot of that soot accumulated on us and our pack sacks.

we are only having a steady shower and a gust of wind every now & then. Suppose to get strong into the night.
No frost here yet but next weeks lows are forecast into the upper 30's brrrr
