Decisions, decisions, decisions!! Sometimes it's not easy choosing which cams will make it in a blog, and in which order! You make think I'm silly, but I like a balance of scenes; not too many mountain cams, or beach cams, or cams from a certain location. Not only that, I consider what the first one should be; most of the people who visit here are from North America, notwithstanding all those folks from India that visited here around Christmas(and Sandi!). Therefore, my aim is for the first cam to be seen by the most folks for the most part during their day. The Parthenon, even though it was dark in Greece for about half the day here, was lit up nicely at night, so folks here could see it well into the evening.
Anyway, I hope you like them! :)

Good morning YLee.
I never thought my missing a post would cause so much concern. It sure gives me a great feeling knowing how much people think of me.
Enjoy the day.

We paid 7$ each for a glass of orange juice in a cafe in Paris. On the corner near our B&B we bought fresh squeezed orange juice for 2$/quart. The bread is still worth the trip, though.

Good evening! Chilly night in store, temps dropping to the mid 20s. The only thing the snow we recieved last did was put a crusty layer on the vehicles!

New blog tonight; haven't made up my mind which cams to use, there are several good contenders!

Hi, Ogal! Those are two of my Saturday morning favorites, too! Good luck to your son in finding a pilot's job. I'm sure he'll be sucessful!

Alley, Rhet wouldn't stand a chance, lol! Gizmo would probably put a whoopin' on him, and Lily would give him a hissin'. Ladies, these two are not! :)

Hi, GG, tonight's my last night at work, so it looks like we'll both be absent from the blogs. :( "A Hillbilly in Paris" sounds like a good movie concept! Oh, Barefoot.......:)

Mmmmmm I'll take a half dozen of them little croy-sent thingys and sum more a that fancy coffee sez the Texan while taking off her boots and holding the warm cup against her socks.

Something about Parisian Cafes and wait-staff just brings out my inner bad behaving cowgirl.

Hope you have a few chuckles today. I'm off to the Bat Cave tomorrow.

A typical breakfast in Paris is one or two croissants (buttery rolls of flaky pastry) or a tartine (French bread sliced lengthwise, with butter and jam), some fruit or juice, and café au lait (coffee with milk, also called café crème).

The traditional spot for breakfast in Paris is a sidewalk café.

A little of Paris

Bon Appetit!!!

Hi Ylee...Rhet wants to know if those southern ladies are as bossy as Smudgie....hee hee heee.. no way was she going to leave him near her dish until she was finished. Poor boy got leftovers again...heee heee heee. Thank goodness there is always plenty to go around. I also have a big dish of dry food to help out. What is so cute is that he sits there patiently waiting for her to finish, she will give him that little coy look saying its ok now you may sup at the dish.

Anyway dear one, hope you are home now and getting some much needed rest yourself. Glad to hear the snow is melting too.

Rabbit? Of all the characters in the Hundred Acre Wood, you call me Rabbit? Surely I'm not that anal and uptight, am I? :) At least you didn't call me Eeyore, lol! I could be compared to Pooh, as I am stuffed full of er, fluff, or something(Don't answer that, Sandi!). Since the H.A.W. don't have any coyotes, I'll have to pick Gopher, 'cause I'm always on the job! Except in the past few weeks!

Sandi, you may get your inspiration from Dickens and Shakespheare, I get mine from A.A. Milne! :)

I had no doubts that if I had a literary question, one of the "elders" would answer, lol!

Sorry to hear about your grey skies; if it makes you feel any better, it's snowing here!

Groan!!!!!

Morning to you. I am getting so fed up of looking out of my office window on grey and grey and more grey. I haven't been able to take a photo of the sunrise since the 22nd of January! When it snowed it only made the grey paler!

What the Dickens?
Dickens is a euphemism for "devil". From Shakespeare's "Merry Wives of Windsor",(Act III, Scene II).
"I cannot tell what the dickens his name is".

Ask and it will be told unto you :) lol

Evening Ylee:
That Paris moon is rising here now but I went out to look and cloud has moved in. Means a warmer night but likely precipitation tomorrow or tonight.
Some here are saying:
"Global Warming - Bring it on".
'cause we don't have to plow the warmer stuff.
I have tried to clear the roads here with a "Bobcat". Depending on the snowfall it's about 60/40% and usually 80/20% it will warm up if I rent the machine.
At 300$/day plus transport we hire out the snow clearing from now on.
So far so good this year.

Good evening! We have a little snowy weather to contend with here tonight and tomorrow morning; may get up to an inch in the grassy areas before it's said and done, although the roads, except for overpasses, should be in good shape. Should. Although precip is showing up on the radar, nothing is happening at this particular location yet.

Check out the full moon behind the clouds at the Eiffel Tower! Cool! Nice day at Akitio. Will start scouting for the new blog tonight, and post it tomorrow, before I leave work, since it looks like I won't be back until Monday. :(

I hope I get some OT, too, Sandi! I may have to send the wife out to get a job! :) Feb. is traditionally the slowest month here. By April, things will have picked up a bit, and folks will start going on vacation, so work will be more plentiful.

No spring here, Tony, as we are supposed to get a little snow tonight!

No wet stuff here yet, Trauma! Maybe soon, though!

ROFL!! That's funny right there, cal! I think you're doing pretty good! Most folks don't realize that their brains are "pleasantly stupefied"! :)

Pros, that must be rough for your cousin; can you imagineFlorida going through something like that? I would be brought to a standstill, too!

That is so funny that you call your work meetings 'state of the plant' we have the same thing and call it 'state of the store' either way they are very boring and tedious!

I thought Madonna did pretty well. But I really enjoyed the others in the cast, they were really GREAT!

At home watching the game we only talked during the game and were quiet during the commercials! Since all this TV is new to us I think we have had our quota of TV, our brains are pleasantly stupified.

Ylee, did you see the two photos on my blog of Assisi? My cousin's house and herb garden with little house? They have never seen snow like it. They are in the 6th day of being marooned, their vehicles are not made for that kind of snow. Today some friends walked a kilometer up the hill to bring them fresh food!

Yes, I saw snow in Italy, a half an inch every four years or so! The whole town used to go out and 'play in the snow', no matter the age. Then we go inside and make hot chocolate. Nice memories. BUT the weather patterns have changed and they are getting a wee bit more snow these days.

Koko is being groomed as we speak. A pet mobile is the grooming venue. K does not like to be left anywhere, she gets in a bad shape, so I have a service come here. Even so, as she saw the lady K began shivering and trying to get back in the house. Poor little thing, especially now that I have to be her legs and buddy. Old age is not fun, not even for pets.

Still sunny here. Still gloomy at the Eiffel. Still no visitors at Cruz Bay. :)

Good morning! Started the day off right; hit my shin on our bed's footboard! :0 Left a mark, it did! :( Had a boring hour long "state of the plant" meeting, followed by 45 minutes of work left by the previous shift. :P At the moment I'm resting with my foot propped up in the other chair in the shack!

We had freezing fog this morning; everything was covered in a thick coating of frost. It's supposed to warm up to 50 here today.

Cams look good this morning; tomorrow night, I'll start scouting for cams, and probably do a new blog Wed. night/ Thurs. morning. Hopefully I can get some OT this week; if not, I won't be back until Monday! :(

GG, evidently Madonna had something to prove to herself, her audience, and to all of the girls who want to knock her off the throne of the Queen of Pop! Good for her! And the Giants, too!
Tuck should have won, or at least shared, MVP with Eli, IMO.

Hey, age, tell us hpw you really feel about the Giants, lol! I'm so glad that you and Jilly are about to have some closure so you can get on with your lives! I also hope that C gets her act together and cleans up her life. Some folks just gotta do the things the hard way, you know?

Look under your posts, age! "Member since: February 5, 2011" ;-)

Milford cam's been down for a few months now. All it's showing now is a blur. I miss that cam. Milford is a cute little town!

Pros, what do you think of all the snow in Italy? Did you ever see it when you were growing up? Good luck on Koko's grooming. Hopefully she will feel better!

Tony, you're "preaching to the choir" when it comes to lecturing kids about taking care of their stuff! My SD knocked her laptop on the floor from her bed, trashing the hard drive in the process. So it sits unfixed until she saves the money to buy a new one. That's the way for all my kids: you break it, you pay for its repair! Good luck, Tony; you're going to need it! As do I, lol! ;-)

Good morning YLee.
I've got a new project today.
The youngest daughter spilled a drink on her wireless keyboard. I'll take the thing apart and see if a gental cleaning can revive it. That will lessen the tangel of wires behind my computer. She also spilled a coke on her netbook stopping it dead in it's tracks. It's funny how my working with computers I've never learned anything about them accordinto her. I don't know how many times I've told her to keep drinks away from the computer. and not to use a laptop or netbook lying flat on a bed.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning.

Not much going on camwise. The tourists have not come in at Cruz Bay but it is a pretty scene. The other clear view is in Andorra. Everyone else is sleeping or have a foggy day.

My day is gong to be very very cold but sunny. I am waiting for the grooming person to arrive and make my little baby (Koko) pretty. The poor thing no longer moves and is so fat that her rear legs (arthritic) can no longer support her. Well, at least her white fur will be so pretty in an hour or so.

Have a wonderful day.

Ylee!! Gosh, where did you ever remember my WU first year anniversary? Is this information posted somewhere?!

Congrats to you on your first year anniversary as well. Cams are gorgeous, still nothing from NH...Milford is no longer there :(

So good to hear from you! How are you and the family all doing? I hope well and happy! Good here, waiting for adoption process to begin, as C's parental rights are being terminated and I will be adopting Jillybean. Conflicting emotions about it all for sure, but I know it is the best and right thing for all involved. Not to mention, I am just crazy in love with my granddaughter and we have adjusted spectacularly and doing great together. Still praying and hoping my daughter eventually seeks help, the sooner the better. Until then, I shall continue doing exactly what I am doing, because it is working! :):)

Happy WU anniversary, my friend! Have wonderful times, and stay the kind man you are! AND...the Giants took the game and are Super Bowl champions!!! I am one very happy camper!!

Hi Ylee,
The St John's Cam had the most wonderful lenticular cloud formation. I tried to copy the photo, but it refused to let me, came up black each time. I took a screen print, so you could see it. It had lost a little of the strength in the layers by the time I got the screen print, but it is still visible!

I have put it through WU so you should be able to see it.

Sounds like you got over the Bummer experience. I'm going to look for that marine bedding compound here as well. Pop rivets might do the trick or those screws you see in public washroom with the removal flanges ground away.

Morning all on this Super Sunday - even without the game! Grandsons (14 & 16) invited Grandpa to come over and watch the game with them, said they were tired of adults talking during the game and wanted G-pa to watch it with them. Not sure if that was a compliment - but excited they asked me to join them.
