It's going alright. Just busy with it, that's all. :D I have Spanish, World History Honors, Geometry Honors, Biology Honors, Physical Education, Literary Analysis and Composition 2 Honors (10th grade course).

I'm going to see you around maybe during the holiday season. Until then, talk to you later, and GOOD LUCK ASTRO!!

Raven

P.S. - I'll be here soon. I'll post another blog soon, probably before November.

Ok Raven, I'm looking forward to your next blog. Curious, but does you school offer any other foreign language other than Spanish? I never enjoyed the language in my middle school years, so I switched over to Latin, which I very much did enjoy.

Not sure if I told you mine, but here's my schedule:
AP Calculus BC, Civil Engineering and Architecture, AP Literature and Composition, AP Macroeconomics (this semester) and AP Government/Politics (next semester), Symphonic Band, and AP Environmental Science. And a study hall too. I'm also taking a college economics course right now from a liberal arts school: Link If you felt brave enough and had the time, you could take it too, the courses are free.

I took the SAT test this last weekend to see if I can improve my scores from my first time around.

And very funny text message, the joy of auto-correct at its finest.

Hi Raven, just thought I let you know I got my first acceptance letter to college. It's my back-up school, Western Kentucky University. That school has a nice $10K per year tuition, really low for any college. Still applying to the other colleges, doing Penn State's application tonight.

Purchasing stocks? You yourself or your family? Stocks can be risky, if you want to use the money for say college, I would recommend transferring the money to a safer investment.

I have a college 529 plan, with upwards of $65,000 in it saved since I was born. And I'm the third child in my family, lol. Luckily my father works a lot with investment firms and the stock market, so he knows all the ins-and-outs of the trade.

That's really cool Astro! :D $65,000 saved? Wow! They must have been saving for a while and putting a nice amount in each year. :)

Good Morning! :) Astro, I am saving money for college, and purchasing stocks. :) How's 70,000 for college sound? Blach. I'm going to do dual-enrollement, so i'd have a bachelor's degree in college. It's also free. :D 2 years of free college....See you later! :)

Baltimore Raven Tickets

The Baltimore Ravens are off to a good start for the 2013 season as they are 2 for 2 in the preseason. In their first game, the Ravens destroyed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 44-16. Their next game was August 15th, when they beat the Atlanta Falcons 27-23. The Ravens did not meet the Falcons last year, but they almost did in the Super Bowl. The Ravens will finish their preseason with games against the Carolina Panthers and the St. Louis Rams, and then start their 2013 season against the Denver Broncos. Tickets for these games can be found and purchased at http://www.Ravenstickets.com.

Good luck to you both, look for internships with stipends, and keep on top of job listings that become available through your school website. And Astro hopefully you get accepted into Penn State they are a really good school and specialize in Meteorology.

Great advice Caleb, thanks! I'm hoping to study abroad this summer in South America, but I will start looking for internships afterward.

Yup, I worked on the application for Millersville, and Penn State alerted me yesterday that I can now begin with them.

Edit: Bedtime, apparently, good night.

No, it's good old UT Austin. I think I exaggerated - it's about $25,000.

Senior year of high school right now. Although, I did get peeks at the costs, whenever CalTech and/or RPI sent the bills home for my sister and older brother, respectively.

Fun times for me ahead, lol.

You would have to mow a lot of lawns to save up even a tiny percentage of the cost of college tuition.
