The News the Robins Bring

By: Whetherperson , 12:10 PM GMT on March 18, 2011

Here in SE Pennsylvania...below the Appalachian Mountains... the robins (arrived 3 weeks ago) were for the first time in full throated song an hour and a half before sunrise!

With projected highs today in the 70s, the grasses showing new growth, the maple buds about to burst, and the forsythia close at hand...Can the opening day of the gliderport be far behind? NO! 14 days and counting.

How's the weather where you are?
Until next time I remain, Up In The Air

Here in NE Penna (Stroudsburg), we saw the first robins about a week ago. Crocus (sp?) are out in town but not in mountains yet. Saw forsythia in Morris County NJ this past weekend. Looking forward to spring as this winter has been dragging on me. lol

Miss the robins, they seemed to have a good winter here. I'm expecting Whipperwills any day.
