Weather Service gave plenty of warning, which Georgia officials largely ignored

Though this story is not about Kansas, I felt it was noteworthy just the same. After days of being warned by the NWS about the potential for a major winter storm, politicians in Georgia blame their lack of preparation and subsequent impacts on lack of good forecasting. The meteorologists at the NWS work round the clock to give us the best forecast possible and don't deserve to be blamed or used as a scapegoat for blatant disregard of winter storm warnings issued in plenty of time to take action.
