We wanted to notify all of our Wunderground weather blog subscribers that we are shifting our focus for weather event commentary over to our own locally run Station Operator's Journal.

Although we are currently unable to provide images or links in our journal posts, the fact that the journal is a feature within our weather station software makes it much more convienient for us to blog there as opposed to posting here on Weather Underground. In addition to that, there is currently a bug in the Networked Blogs system that keeps re-posting old blog entries to Facebook whenever we post a new update here. This is obviously going to be confusing if we are not able to identify and delete these duplicates when they appear at random, sometimes hours after a new entry has been added.

So... Although we may use this blog from time to time to post Sat images and other content during major weather events, for the most part, this blog is being retired as our primary weather information vehicle effective immediately.

We urge those who have been following us here to bookmark the journal link and begin monitoring that page for all future weather and weather station related comments for D2149 Bass Lake.

Thanks!

The low pressure system currently spinning off the Northern California coast will be pulling warm southern moisture bands into the Bass Lake area later this afternoon and through Monday morning.
