Just got back from a week in north east Washington. Except for the last day (Monday), clear skies and temps in the mid 80's at peak and down about 50 at night. We spent the 4th (2nd-5th) at North Twin Lakes and saw a very well done fireworks display put on by regular folks. Here is a photo of one (of many) from cousin Brian. Well done!

Clouds, lightning, and a bit of rain came to Spokane on Monday, the 6th.

Great to see lots of family, haven't seen many in 10 years. We stayed with a cousin and family in Spokane, excellent hosts. Thanks Dianna and Don!

I just saw your comment on another blog about waiting for "even a few drops of rain" and had to let you know that I appreciate someone who feels that way! Nonstop sun (with some fog now and then) would be hard for me. I hope some rain makes its way south for you all before long! I also see your eastern Washington connection and am interested. Keep "watching the sky"!
