The plant looks better against those red rocks in Sedona than in any of the pictures I linked. Maybe you could interest them in your picture. :o)

Hiya WTS! Haven't seen you in awhile - hope all is well!

Bogon put a comment (#21) in my blog about your pretty plant. What do you think?

Quoting Bogon:
What about this one for the mystery plant?

More pictures here.

It doesn't look like I'll need my snorkle, although it will be wet tomorrow. I can't believe there is snow in the forecast for Monday night/Tuesday morning. It's March, for Pete's sake! It's not supposed to snow here in March.

Ha! 'Where's-my-snorkle?'!!! Been a long time since we have had some of that falling from the sky! I like it :) We did get a good shot of rain, but now 'they' say 88 by Sunday - can you say 'dry as a bone'. #SummersComing
Thanks sp, still looking for an ID.

clear liquid falling from gray sky???

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we sometimes call that liquid sunshine. Then again, it could be mist, sprinkles, drizzle, showers, rain, heavy rain, downpour, gully washer, or where's-my-snorkle?

Hope you got a nice, healthy amount of the wet stuff.

It snowed here but nothing stuck and we got zip in the rain gauge. It's those stoopid mountains in the way again, huh SP!!! Oh well, those mountains behind us got a couple of inches. From what I hear it poured on the south side of these mountains.

Glad you got much needed rain! Not sure what the wildflower is, left my id book at work. I will take a look at it today when I go in.

I have no idea of the plant, but I like the color :)

We ended up with .12" as we had one short spurt of a downpour in the evening. More tomorrow? We'll see!

Excuse me, sir. I think you picked up my rain by mistake. If you would, please, just return it ... ?

Just kidding, of course ;) It looked on radar that SD area was getting plenty and that's good to see!

Pretty flower - no idea what it is but I'm sure I've seen it before, and much larger, so it oughtn't be too hard for someone to ID.

Hi SBK, did not get a chance to look at the track - maybe it did swing down our way around you. Monday total was .79" and a little left over for Tuesday early - .12, so .91 total! Unexpected! A little shot of PSP weather :) Cold here as well - low 40s from about 6 last night to now (8:30 AM). Can't see our mountains yet but they should have 5-9 inches of the fluffy stuff.

A little gem found while hiking in Sedona, anyone able to ID?

We got some....did you? Just watched the weather on the news and it looked like it was heading to SD. Your weather sticker to the right says you are getting light rain mist. Hope you got more than that.

We ended with .11" and it is COLD!
