Welcome to The Back Forty
|By: Thoughtsteader, 2:17 AM GMT on January 17, 2014||+3|
There's no telling what you'll find here. Old bee hives. A hay rake with half the tines missing. Piles of cedar posts.
Sometimes after a rain, the Indian mound down by the creek gives up another layer of dirt and the chips and flakes of worked flint shine like earthbound stars.
There's more to see than you'd think. The maize fields and hay meadow need tending, but the back forty's for wandering, dreaming and discovery. You can come along if you like, and we'll do a little thoughtsteading.
