I thought I would share pictures of a few of my gardens, especially the vegetable gardens since I got nice comments about my vegetables last summer. I will update the pictures as the season moves along and the plants produce.

	The Backyard Birdwatcher and Homemade Suet Cakes

I was in another blog when we got talking about suet cakes. In the past I have made my own suet cakes, but would get discouraged when the cakes would be gone in a day or two. With the ones you buy at the store they could last a couple of weeks or longer. Don't get me wrong I enjoy feeding the birds, but it was just seeing my work disappear so fast. 	My Potato Patch

Here is the yield from my potato patch. mmmmmm. I have already eaten some of the potatoes. They are especially good on the grill. There are 5 varieties. Rose Finn Apple Fingerling, Corola, Russian Banana Fingerling, Rose Gold and Yukon Gold. This is my second year of planting potatoes. Both years I have had to spray with sevin to get rid of the colorado potato beetles on a few occassions at that. I found a bunch in the dirt when i was digging up the potatoes...

	Anniversary of Campbelltown Tornado

someone told me that this, today July 14th, is the anniversary of the F3 tornado that hit Campbelltown in 2004. I was not living in this neighborhood or house at the time. A neighbor took these pictures after the tornado had hit and gave them to me after i moved in.

	A Messy Hump Day

Wow, what a messy day outside today. After light snow fell all day yesterday and getting 3" of the white stuff, late last night and all day today so far we are getting rain. It just got above freezing about an hour ago. the trees have a lot of ice on them. the roads are extremely slushy. and the sidewalks and porch is extremely icy. I decided to clean the walks and driveway last night during the lull in precipitation. Now i need a good thaw to remove the ice....
