I have been busy and haven't had much time to start a new garden blog. It seems like I am always doing something with the kids and I know it will only get worse as they get older. Between music lessons, swim lessons, golf lessons, other sports or just having friends over or going over friends. And of course my time on the golf course. :)My garden was just ok this year. Here are a few pictures of this year's gardens. I have the same area for potatoes and the other garden is a bit different. It has the usual staples of tomato, peppers, cucumbers and onion. I decided to have an area for herbs. I also planted cabbage. I have been making sauerkraut in the fall and thought why not use home grown cabbage to make the sauerkraut. I was in another blog when we got talking about suet cakes. In the past I have made my own suet cakes, but would get discouraged when the cakes would be gone in a day or two.
