My co-worker Chris Settle and I are speaking with host Rob Lorei about hurricane preparedness.

1) It starts off with the end of the previous program and calls in response to the prior week's call in show.

2) It's about an hour long. You should be snoozing by then!

E-Lert, Pinellas County's monthly emergency management newsletter, captured the coveted statewide Public Education/Information Award at the 2007 Governor's Hurricane Conference on May 16. Tom Iovino, the e-newsletter’s editor, was honored at an awards banquet. E-Lert was singled out for this prestigious award for providing valuable information to residents and visitors about severe weather and protective measures. I am one happy guy! :-)
