Oil prices ($74.62) lost $0.09 .

Expectation [Oil]: $100+ by Memorial Day weekend. I am not as confident in that prediction since the Chinese seem to be pulling back.

Expectation [Gasoline]: I am going to call it at $3.00 for the National Average by Memorial Day weekend because of the continued expectations that the Global economy is getting stronger and the Summer travel season should be heavier then last year.

Expectations Realized [Oil]:

There is a system trying to develop in the western Carribean but it is unlikely to impact oil or refinery production as its most likely path would be over Florida which desperately needs the rain. So this system should have more positives then negatives. It may cause the price of crude and gas to firm up a little bit after the downturn this week as this system seems to indicate that the tropics are open for business again.

I get caught up in trying to think how the logistics of such a scenario could be worked out. Basicly, I love a good challenge and this type is just to crazy to pass up.Whether you have seen it or not post your comments and ideas...

Some people are calling for it mid-May but I think they are enough little factors that will prevent that from happening. Irregardless of when exactly it happens I do expect it to impact fuel prices because the commodity's market has been so fear based that the fundamentals of supply and demand are not what is driving this market. I had been hopefull t...

We have been busy expanding our business and developing new sites and tools. I did want to get back to updating this blog on somewhat of a regular basis as I consider the Weather Underground to be my favorite weather site. It may not seem as glossy as some of the other high priced sites but it provides what you want from a weather site, weather information. One of the logistical tools that we have in R&D is a tool specificly designed to provide alternate plans ba...
