Storm spotter training

Has anyone in the STL area gone to the storm spotter training classes? My guy and I are wanting to go this spring. Am interested in your comments and opinions on it. thanks!

Not in STL but I did it here a couple weeks ago. Well worth your while even if you decide not to be a weather spotter with NWS.

No I have not, but That would be a wonderful class to take!

I live in NC, but have been to spotter classes in the area here. They are very educational. My classes met at the local NWS office. Very cool to see the hardware in there (if the meeting is in the NWS office).
