What's wrong with the weather??

So we went to Alaska last week where it was in the teens for the most part, and snow.... lots of snow. Come back here to the 80s? 80s??? What is going on? April flowers are blooming, even the hardwoods are starting to bud. It's at least a month early. Is it like this all over the country? Anyone else having a super early spring?

Good gods, Patrap. This is ridiculous. Are you having a super early spring also? (She asked, while watching butterflies dancing out the window.)

NOLA had 1 day at Freezing, other than that, we had a long fall, but no "actual" winter.

Spring is in Full Bloom here.

We had lots of severe weather here yesterday. (I got a photo of mammatus clouds seen from our front yard in the VIP photo section, she said modestly.) Local news station was showing viewer photos of softball-sized hail. Just a taste of things to come. :(
