Grrrr, frustration, etc.

Where could I look to find precipitation information, either anecdotal or official? Someone's blog? Twitter? Certainly isn't in the newspaper here and I don't find it online in the weather sites either. Have not heard about it on the radio.

I'd say it rained here in this part of town (87505) South Capitol district, about one half inch in the late afternoon of 6/28/2013.

Wunderground again reports a very very different amount, 5/100ths of one inch, at the airport here. Wunderground did this last time we had a good rain also, a week or two ago.

Good Morning,
Saw your comment, if you type in Santa Fe, NM in the
search box at the top of the page just to the right of
the WU Logo, it will take you to the Casa Solana Weather
Station page.

If you click on the Station name, Casa Solana, it will
take you to their historical data page. Scroll all the
way down and it will show information from midnight to
the present time.

Then go back to the original page, to the right side
from where it says Casa Solana, you will see the words
"Select Station", click on that button, it will take
you to the page that shows the airports and all the
weather stations that are near Santa Fe. I just did it
and it shows 4 airports and 10 weather stations.

Not every weather station has the same kind of rain
collector, or sometimes their gage gets clogged, this
way it will give you more than one to check with.

It also shows a map on that page where all the stations
are located. You can pick one nearest where you live.

Hope this helps.
