Is it mid-December already...?! I hope everyone is doing well. I'm okay and coming up for air every so often, but diving deeply right back into work again.
Good grief, I can't believe there's been 3 months I don't remember where they went. I s'pose time flies when y'er having fun?
Around here, all is well. Angel is not always so angelic, but still a good pup. The rest of the critters are doing well. I lost one BPR hen (no visible reason), but the other 17 are doing well. We're nearing the 5,000 egg laid mark (not bad, considering the first batch of girls started last year August). All horses are doing well, although my oldest worried me a few times.
Classes are finally coming to an end. Whew. Had the toughest class (and a pretty intense other one with it), which kept me from most fun stuff.
Didn't help that I spent several days in court in October (remember the contractor situation?). It's resolved. Not as well as I hoped, but it's done. At least I can move beyond now. (Ended up leaving "skin in the game" when I scalped my heel the final day ... still healing that big chunk. Thankfully it's only now starting to get cold. I'm slowly getting to where I can wear closed shoes again. Yea. Just in time for cold weather to arrive. Whew!)
I hope everyone in the US had a great Turkey Day and wishing everyone a wonderful Holiday Season, no matter if you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice or just the end of another year and a great 2013.
My wish for my 2013 is that time will slow down a little bit. The two classes I selected for the Spring semester should be less work. At least one is, that much I know :) The other one is probably relative dry, but we'll see...
