Here is one for you Goofy.

Sausage Bread. Saute ground sweet italian sausage with bell peppers and onions, set aside. Roll out pizza dough into a rectangular configuration, then spread the sausage and peppers and onions over the entire dough. Then roll the dough over and over starting on one edge like you were making cinnamon rolls. Bake until the dough is crispy. Looks like a loaf of bread. Slice it like you were slicing bread in one inch pieces. It will look like a big cinnamon roll. Serve with marinara sauce over the slice. Veggies and salad on the side.

Morning: Coffee and bacon heating.

So OPA gets to the airline counter at Rhine Main and gets his family ticket, mentioning that his daughter is a Capt. He checks in at the gate to find he is 23 on the standby list as the flight was seriously overbooked. When the classes (first, families with babies etc) are called he is paged to come to the desk. He is given a nice seat since he "is a Capt."

Here is the idea for a breakfast stromboli.

Preheat oven to 400°F.
Simultaneously, cook 8 slices of Hickory Smoked Bacon until crispy and cook ground pork sausage till "browned" or not pink.
Drain grease from bacon and ground sausage. When cooled slightly, crumble bacon in a bowl and set aside.
In a medium sized non-stick skillet over medium-low heat, cook eggs, stirring occasionally to create scrambled eggs. Remove eggs from heat and set aside.
Roll pancake mix dough out flat on a clean, floured work surface. Sprinkle cheese evenly over entire dough. Evenly distribute crumbled bacon, ground sausage, eggs, and green onions, peppers on one side of the pizza dough. Fold one long side of dough to meet the other and pinch dough. Pinch the short sides of the dough and twist major horizontal seam to the bottom of the pan.
Place on a baking sheet that has been treated with non-stick spray. Wrap raw bacon slices or make a weave over the top of the dough. If needed, secure ends of bacon with toothpicks.
Cover with foil. Bake 20 minutes. Remove cover, bake until crust is golden brown and bacon is crisp.

this ones for you RTL

Rain is Assured !
I'm building a road on a hillside, you know.
And there are several hundred feet of hill above.
Funny thing is, that any rain that falls on hills rushes down to the lower parts.
I wonder who planned that ?
I take it as a Personal Affront.

Good forecast on the blob my good man, it does
seem to be a low rider. The weaker it stays the
farther West it goes. Will be interesting. You
might get some of the rain you need out of it.

Good evening !

Yep, Pirate Alex is fine with his 4 stitches, right between the eyes and 1/2 '' above the eyebrows.
Fell into a garden bed he did, so some bushes took some of the terminal velocity off, but he landed on his noggin.
They gave him all the x-rays and stuff to make sure nothing else was bent or twisted.

Looking at that storm system, 93L.
Keeps flaring up and calming down (she's a Woman, Bertha, right?)
But I don't like the way she is holding her course and gently drawing-in moisture.
Moisture field is expanding again.

I'm thinking she stays weak, stays west, and brings plenty rain and squally conditions to the south Caribbean.

She's still below 10N.

Just read a report on the news about lightning,
some of the myths and mistakes people make.
Lightning can be 10 miles ahead of the storm
itself. I just commented on seeing that on the
radar shots the other day. Nasty stuff.

It could be that too. The Western area of Canada is having really bad and really huge fires, saw it on the news the other day. When we lived in Fort Lauderdale and the Everglades would get those wildfires every summer the wind would blow the smoke East into Fort Lauderdale and my hay fever would spike like crazy.

The skies have been hazy since Saturday and weather guy said last night its the smoke from the western fires that are being blown along the canadian border and then down over the northeast. If the Westerners are going to have their campfires,I wish they would keep the smoke to themselves.

Have been having those my self all during the month, I only get them from the Oak pollen when its gets heavy. That stopped months ago. Everyone here that has Hay Fever has been complaining too. Pollen count here is low. Latest info from my young Dr is that its the SAL dust that is covering the East Coast of the US. Makes a certain amount of sense. All of the pollen from all over Africa and the dust heads West and reaches all the way here. There is a fine layer of dust on all the cars every day and there is nothing to account for it. There are no fires East of us and the only thing thats blooming is idiots. :))

Sorry to hear of the damage, happy no injuries.

Bright and hazy here, and looking East at the Swirly, it seems to have lost some 'oomph' overnight.
Still there, and tracking to the Islands.

Today is a Holiday (Eid), so we will be out visiting Alex and Amy.
Alex was in Tobago last weekend.
He was leaning over the railings of the veranda, catching raindrops on his tongue.
Slipped off, fell 12' onto his head in the garden below, had to be held down by 3 Large Orderlies in the Scarborough Hospital at 10;00 pm to receive 4 stitches in his forehead.

Need to go and commiserate with him !
He's a Hero, you know.

Yeah, that's not good. Shifts the track west impacting islands. Thing needs to get it's act together and get heading north!

Glad Alex is okay.

Late checking in. Late start due to massive migraine this morning. Still playing catchup.

So Sir POTT:

It looks like the moisture levels in the tropics are beginning to evolve. Two systems several clicks east of you. They seem a wee bit south of the typical path. Be interesting to see if these are abby normal or ?.

Beautiful day here. DIL'S Dad enroute across pond. So its cheesebuggers tube steaks tater salad and flagons of Vermont pale ale.

Fireman's Fair opens tonight with a parade and lots of rides, food and foam.
