Welcome to The Ark

If you need to get away from all the "end of the world" hullabaloo, well, what better place to hide than an Ark?

Hang out, play some music, have a cookie, some eggnog, or maybe some grog. Be ready to celebrate that we're all still here!

The tutorial for the Youtube code generator is now in Post 7 and 8 of The Ark help files. The link to the generator is now in the right column in my links section here.

Please read the tutorial. It's really easy once you know what to and not to do.

Enjoy!

I may need pottymon's intellect, wit, or otherwise misguided perception of reality to properly describe "used dirt".

When I conjured the notion, I was referring to dirt that had previously been shoveled, stepped on, swept out the kitchen door, pooped on, or otherwise altered from it's natural state by some whim or what's it by mankind or hinderkind.

Hmmm?
Come to think of it, that's makes me older than used dirt.

Hi Gro, welcome back from Parts Unknown, or should that be unmentioned?
One is never sure, is one?

Still seeing some weather up your end Snakemon. Keep an eye on the sky, and a Fritter at hand.

Well done Sheph.
I'll let you know tomorrow how thing are playing out.
So far, sketches seem to be working.

Nice to see the rest of the Crew checking in too.
But I'm off to attend to the Lady's every whim.
Whimsical, I am.

Yo, pot. Glad to be back among "old" friends. I missed you guys. I was in Switzerland for a while and made some side trips to see some family and friends in a few other places. I am so glad to be back. We've been gone since Christmas. How you all doing?

Mature???? You joined? Oh, I forgot. You were RA :) They drafted my little behind while I was in Norway. I considered a small jump over to Sweden, but my 3 older brothers were all Naval Officers. I was advised that if I did not serve, they would make me wish I had.

Heheheheh, yeah, they are 6"x8"x 16"..
sorry.
So I can fill where I want.

But I'm now looking again, and trying to see if a 13' long post (instead of the 8') will not make better sense.
That would give me about 3'6'' wall-height above the upstairs floor.
With the roof on top of that, the headroom area looks to be about 10' wide throughout even without dormers. That's plenty.

My eyes are getting crossed.
BBL, but that depends on whether son calls to borrow my truck (his 4WD has packed up) so I may have to meet him somewhere and drive his truck back here so I can use his so he can use mine to take a film crew off road somewhere.
Who needs them?
Kids I mean.
Me, for one! :):))

As I suspected you would, you have everything under control.
You were just testing me to see if I had gotten over a week in the Keys.

No, I haven't.
Actually, I'm already planning a return trip down.
Maybe around Easter if I have my new shop slab poured.
I need the waters to warm up a bit so when the big boys come swimming home I'll be there to play.

Sometimes I think Tarpon jump out of sheer happiness.

Nah.

Mature is when ya have to shave "every" day.

I on the other hand, have no present recollection of the 60s...but, if you'll hum a few bars.

Got that right Grothar!

Glad for the good report RTL.
Switching to Tallahassee radar now to keep an eye on the line as it approaches Shep. Forecast here overnight is 50% showers after 1 am. Of course the last time they said showers we got 5 inches precip and the power went out. Will monitor.

In the meantime. It's sunset here. Taking a break.

Yup, storm is finally here, 2 nados so far north and south of us, high winds, lightning, heavy rains, lots of stuff and whatnot hitting the windows, of course its getting really dark already, exciting times if you know what I mean. :)

No trees down so far, getting hard to see outside, not spending too much time in front of the windows of course, blinds are all down, can look out the glass in the front door and see tree parts on the driveway though.

Wind sounds are really howling out there.

Popping in to see how everyone is doing... looks like the same wild crew!

Glad Snakey seems to be in the clear of this wicked line of storms. The Bayou is stirred up, wind is howling, but so far nothing to report. Heard one claim of damage in FWB, restaurant roof blowing off....

Everyone stay safe!!

Funny you should say that.....

Just had to give Technical Advice, and wield a stapler-gun.
Lady Pott is re-upholstering a foot-stool for Ancient Person, and my help was Urgently Needed.
Will need to go and do the last of the stapling in a while, then I can switch off and have a beer before going out to meet son.
His 4WD has an electric engage, and that's not working.
