Stat,
Shep caught most of it. Also, I'm not always right, but I'm generally a pretty good judge of character. I think you are a person of good character. When you came to the blogs you were just a kid but you conducted yourself with a maturity beyond your years. I gave you the benefit of the doubt and I've never regretted that.

So...just accept the compliment in the spirit intended.

Shep,
I miss Uppy too. He doesn't pop in often enough.
And Cotillion.

RTL,
I'm sure the Thanksgiving party was fun. I have my sister and her two youngest daughters coming tomorrow for a couple days. The kids are all growing up too quick. Hard to get them in one place.

Prose,
Thank you so much! Love the art!!

Photobucket

Just a brief greeting with a photo collage from my last painting, and a quote from a poem:

Hail to thee, blithe spirit!
Bird thou never wert,
That from Heaven, or near it,
Pourest thy full heart
In profuse strains of unpremeditated art.

Things are going pretty well! College is busy but fun.

Hey Stat, that is cool, one red eye and one blue eye.

And the red and blue reflection on the fingers is a nice touch.

Looks like he is radiating his fingers clean. :)

Howdy stat.

I think he's saying he's proud that you're still in school and doing well.

So often, we see just the opposite.

...for what it's worth...take the compliment.

:)))

BTW...where da heck is Uppy???
I miss his backyard experiments and fishing stories.

how was the party?

Great Fun! The little Hulk's Indian name was Running Raccoon.
They had a cute program, all the kids were dressed as Indians of course.
They sang a bunch of cute songs complete with dances and movements.
Then we had a "Thanksgiving Feast".
That kid ate a plate of food you wouldn't believe.
He's 4 years old. Don't even want to think about feeding him when he's a teenager! :)

"Hey SugarBear, what size turkey are you buying? 10 pounder? The Hulk will be here remember, better get a 15 pounder!" LOL

OK, Orca is now back on the list.

OK, so I did fire first with the blonde joke.

But he downloaded TWO KOI ponds!!

For those of you who don't know the whole story,
it would take days to tell the whole story,
and the whole story goes back two years,
and the whole story covers 47 blogs,
and twelve bloggers,
and some Meerkats.

lol vacation time?

More like put Rob to work time.
She usually takes the week of Thanksgiving off since she gets 2 days anyway. Gives her 9 days but only uses 3 vacation days.
She gets spring break, & Christmas break. Normally instead of vacations we take long weekends.

Don't normally cook breakfast just for myself but you guys just kept on talking about food...

2 eggs
6 link sausages
2 slices 12 grain toast.

Now I'm stuffed, it's cloudy out, and I'm feeling sleepy.

Gotta go, the little Hulk is having some kind of Pow Wow
at pre K this morning and Grandpa has been invited as
one of the Big Chiefs.

...and as long as you don't mention putting chocolate on pecan pie in Macon, Ga...they may let you come back.

Oh sure, you had to mention Pecan Pies didn't you?
Thanksgiving, forget the turkey, the ham, the mashed potatoes, the gravy, the candied yams, the cornbread stuffing, the green beans with those crunchy onions on top, the broccoli slaw salad with the grapes, apples, and walnuts, the pumpkin pie(YUK).

Thanksgiving is all about the

CHOCOLATE BOURBON PECAN PIE

Sorry, got a little carried away there. :)

Hey Stat! Good to "see" you.

Hey Goofy - I don't know what Baverian Flippies are,
but it sounds really good.

Did you guys notice you are always talking about food?

heh heh heh

Goofy!
Glad you were able to check in. Sounds like a good time being had by all. That's great! I'll inform the boys that you have invoked. Choosies. Doubt they'll participate...they enjoy the scuffle too much. :o)

Shep,
All of the above and more. I like the Fritter Dynasty idea though, maybe I'll get a franchise.

Hey 'Snake.
Mainly more of the same and gonna get worse.
Might wanna stock up on Twinkies, Ho Hos, and Ding Dongs though.

So when I checked the news, I couldn't decide if you were referring to pastries, cat fight repercussions, or Israel.

If Twinkies go extinct, I couldn't care less.
But, please Lord, save the Apple Fritters and pecan pies.

Come to think of it, now would be the perfect time for Ranger Rick to start "Apple Fritter Dynasty".
Strike while the iron is hot, snakers.

New sheet?  From 49.61 N, 11. 78 E.  cloudy, foggle, dense mist, biga mist  and 0-3 C.  Ok that's this weeks weather.  Having great time with the babies and family.   Opa has brought two bottles of white and two bottles of  Fr. bubbly to celebrate the silver leaves and turns out the SW and YT will be here for 40th.  Several racks of Braverian flippies to be consumed as well.   Hear we may have a N'eastr to  great our return.   See lily pad has surfaced.  Good news.  Choosies.

Morning Rob!

I wouldn't count on spending the lotto money anytime
soon, I didn't have the heart to tell Pottery that he
only gave us 5 out of the 6 numbers for the lottery.

Isn't it odd that Pottery and Lottery sound the same?

Isn't it odd that Dorg and Borg sound the same?

I think I need more coffee.

Rained last night here, 44*F this morning, no snow yet. :)

Thank you!
At least someone is paying attention!
:o)

Cool and foggy here this am.

True enough, but I like my explanation better.

Hey Ski! My WU issues seem to be gone this morning. Hope yours are too.

Sorry guys. For some reason, I'm getting something like 1/2 dialup speed on WU tonight (and only WU). Also my rum just arrived and I need to medicate my back enough to sleep tonight.

FYI, I'm not psychot...I mean psychic, at least not in this case. Every so often I check the map above to see how many visitors from where. Macon, GA was the most recent at the time of the last post.

I'll check back later...carry on.
(If anyone needs me...call)
