Well I am done eating turkey for another year. yay. Toms Ma got pre cooked turkeys this year and all you have to do is heat them up, talk about major juicy, couldn't even carve them they were like pulled pork, just fell apart.

Coconut Icecream

Add rum and and one of those widdy umbrellas and its pina colada cocktail hour baby :)

Good Plan!
I have all the 'gredients too. Well, except for the widdy 'brella. But that just gets you in the eye anyway....

Greetings, Greylings.

A nice day here with pretty cloud, occasional light showers, breezes.

Spent 90 minutes doing a 20 minute run for gasoline for the trimmer.....
A jackass tried to get from the northbound lane of the highway to the southbound lane, through the barriers, at maximum velocity, across the 60' divide, airborne, etc etc...

He nearly made it.......

Keeping busy here, so laters>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yeah, just saw that you might get a little snow.
Hoping you don't just get ice!

It went?
Ranger Rick hid it. Last time I checked it was on the far side of the sun.

Good morning Goofy.

Had to look that one up.
Beavers said to be very active at that time and their pelts are especially lush so it's a good time to catch one.

Looking less likely that we'll get any more November rain. Lake is still full but ground getting a little dry.

More than one active beaver with a plush pelt has......

Shut up shep.

Good Morning Pottery.

I think it must have been the Persian Asp Casting.

Actually, just a busy Monday here. Well, busy and Monday is a bit redundant I suppose.

Iranian snakes??
Oh my.

Monday is it?

That's just the first saturday of the week for me and Ranger Dorothy.

Have you all Beamed Up?
Is there something I am unaware of?
Have I missed the boat?
Fallen by the wayside?
Blotted my copybook?
Cast an aspersion?
Become totally irrelevant?

Oh. OK. Thanks...

all of the above, huh ?

Morning POTT and you lurkers one and all. Well where to start? Last month has been to say an adventure. Starting with the pre Sandy warm-up, the storm and aftermath, the nor'easter snow that followed, camping out at the Squad bldg., some 200 + fire and first aid calls, quick trip to Germany to see the grand kids, a return to find the yard furniture in the living room, the prep for Thanksgiving two days later, and the Lighting of the Leg Lamp and gathering till all hours of the night. Not to mention the cut ups here and at Halo's. Time to sit back and enjoy a bagel with creme cheese and some dark coffee. Cheers.

Who else even THINKS ice cream when it's 28 degrees?

The One and Only, that's who..... :):))

Today is over!
It was good. Some showers to raise the humidity, which led to lots of 'refreshments' being consumed, and masses of food, (including ice-cream of course) and it was all Worthwhile. Whew.

Going for a long shower, then bed.
Tomorrow is another day, apparently......

How can you see into my eyes like open doors,
leading you down into my core where I've become so numb.

Without a soul, my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold,
until you find it there and lead me back...home.

Well actually that is wonderful you see, when I went to the Freezer compartment I was surprised to find that we had no Coconut Ice Cream but we did have a large container of Maple Walnut Ice Cream so I thought to myself, self, Walnuts contain Omega-3's which help your system fight off all kinds of bad stuff and whatnot that may be running amok in your system so it has to be health food right?

Therefore having consulted with an expert in the field of dessertology, that would be me of course, I gave SugarBear and I a large serving of the Maple Walnut Medicine and plan to do so on a regular basis!

The Maple flavoring just helps you take the medicine you understand, and since it comes from trees it is considered to be a natural form of medicine itself.

I would consider some Maple Walnut Ice Cream for you and the Lady Pottery should you have the opportunity, it is quite nice. :)

28*F this morning, no snow yet. :)

Well for goodness sake Pottery! Keep your elbows firmly clamped against your sides at all times to avoid any further energy loss.
(at least until after you shower please)

Wow, you two are certainly busy! Makes me tired just reading about it.

Meanwhile I have done absolutely nothing worthy of mention today.
I'm quite proud of that accomplishment and shall attempt to repeat it tomorrow!

Have a good night, get some rest. Your lists do not seem to be going away anytime soon!

Coconut is a fruit right?

Fruit is health food right?

Therefore, coconut ice cream is health food!

You can eat health food on a diet.

OK, Christmas Honey Do list is moving right along,
tree is up and decorated already, stuff and whatnot
placed all over the house, front porch lights and
Christmas Star in place, stockings are hung everywhere
except over the fireplace cause thats a stupid place to
put flamable fuzzy cloth stockings full of candy. :)

After two days of stuffing ourselves with stuffing we
decided to go on a diet before Christmas. So tonights
dinner was BBQ ribs, baked beans, cole slaw, and corn
bread muffins. No ice cream though.

Well, you have to start somewhere, right? :)

Good Going !
My current list ignores Christmas entirely.
But it involves creating an entire Wonderland of Sculptures, aquariums filled with blue water with a boat floating, an old bleach covered with ceramic washing, strange and scary faces hung on walls, and other stuff that requires ENDLESS "move it another inch to the left" and "two more of those massive boulders should be enough".

I am plum tuckered out !
Need to spring out of bed at the Squark, to complete the Outstanding Items.
There are 689 of them......

The Sublime and the Ridiculous, eh ?
Which is which ?

Here's the thing, see?
I feel Old tonight. Worn out. Haggard. Weary and Wasted.
Losing my Energy, I am. I think it's seeping out through my armpits.

But I've signed up for an Intense Rejuvenation Course. It involves eating Apple Fritters, Strong Coffee, Double Stuffed Oreos, bowls of Calories with Cream on top. No more fish, Veggies, stuff or whatnot.

After thorough research, I have decided that when I grow up, I want to be like Snake. Tireless, Energized, Immortal.
So, I'm starting NOW !

This is really good Coconut ice-cream.....
What's for desert?
