Well, it's that time.
Going to light a fire and cook up some salmon. Lets see...antipasto salad...maybe some green beans with cranberries.

Now...just need something to wake my tired brain up a bit.

Hmmm....this'll do.

Okay...Have to leave for a while to figure out whether I have a problem with my well pump or (I suspect) a bad breaker. Then I will have to dig around and see if I have a correct spare. Might take a while.

In the meantime...enjoy this tune.

It's all good man. Been thinking I should get a bigger pump anyway. Just told Angie that if she wants a shower tonight I'll have to pour jugs of bottled water over her.
Hey...might be fun!

Rut Row, there goes the sunbathing on the patio next summer. :)

I could build a Pergola and cover it with a large camo net. :)

Be back in the morning!

Greetings !
Good to see that Snake has reared his head.
Bad to see that Hood needs a pump.

Just back from the airport.
2 young tourists from Montreal.
They got off the plane at dawn, to witness a real pretty sunrise through some wet looking stuff in the east.

At least they'll be warm......

Good Morning!

Pottery, looks like you might get a break from the rain for a while then all will depend on what develops on the continent. If it rains, just explain that is why they call it the tropics.

RTLSNK, Fritter day just wouldn't be any fun without your participation. We abstained.

Shep, Good morning and thank you for the tunes.

Yeah Ylee, ssshhhh.

Actually, was able to flip a breaker on, switch some valving around, pour a little water in, and somewhat to my surprise, the old pump started working so we were not totally without the benefit of modern plumbing last night. Glad I had the idea to leave it installed as a backup when we put the new well in. Been so long since I used it that I nearly forgot about it. Hopefully Cowboy will be by shortly with the replacement pump.

Sporadic heavy showers today.
Montreal visitors enjoy the fact that the rain is warm..... strange folk, them Northerners....

Talking to a friend last night who says that he got 6 nice Dolphin and a 35 lb kingfish on Monday.
It was unanimously agreed that from the 1 st of Feb, we will fish every Wednesday.

Hey Arkers,

how goes it?

Going to do a shameless cut and paste from Toddlers that I typed over there.

Well I know you all have been waiting with baited breath to know how the engine delema worked out /sarc

So I will tell you anyway. Found 2000 225 yammy, an L which is what we need for the portside cause we are proud owners of twins. Found it in south florida, shimmied it into the back of the truck and off it went to the keys.

Well our next task was to borrow a trailer for the fishing boat so we can drag it down to the workshop and get the motors swapped over. We are using our trailer for another boat we have. Believe me you can have to many boats.

It took 2 days and we were back in biz, would of bin 1 day but our mechanic was feeling pretty ordinary after a friday nite out in the keys.

"Fat Albert" used to be what they called a DEA airship that was tethered aloft off the coast of ECFL, around Canaveral NS,impI believe!

Safe travels, Snake!

Hey Ylee,

We still have a fat albert in the keys, I think thats what they name it, It's in Cudjoe key. I call it the bad year blimp.

Rob:
Just here listening to Boston but I did see your comment on my previous. I had to put up a new blog 'cause I was getting complaints about how long some folks had to spend scrolling (I guess these people have never been to Dr. Masters' blog).
So last night I watched the "Thunder Helicopter" music videos here and I gotta say:
Seems like "Overkill" to me. And I love choppers and jet aircraft BUT:
Do we really need this?
I know the Government of Canada wants to buy in but Harper does not speak for me!

YCD,
War is never a good thing.
Unfortunately, looking more and more like we're (NATO) gonna have to go into Syria. The UN is dysfunctional in their primary purpose, stopping wars, and seems more concerned with controlling the internet at the moment.

This could have been avoided. Not excusing my country's lack of action...we were more concerned with elections and pretending that terrorist groups and terrorist states did not exist.

That was my reason for the tributes/salutes to the troops last night. I'm afraid that once again they are going into harms way.
