You're right el cappymon.

It's all Ranger snakers' fault.

He only lives a couple hours up the road.
I'll have Poncho and Lefty pay him a visit.

Dear Mrs. Applebottom

Please excuse Snakerdoodles from school today.

Upon retiring last night, he left his panty hose on his pillow. Why? I don't know, he just did. I'll speak with him about that.

Sometime during the night the panty hose wound up on his head and began to work their way down.

The nightmare of being swallowed by a giant snake was too much for his fragile mind to process. The battle that ensued left him with multiple scraps and bruises and disjointed the finger that I am sure he is trying to communicate his displeasure with me for mentioning the incident.

Thank you.
Mr. Snakerdoodles

Oh boy! Here we go!

I'll be back later to see how this pans out.
Time to take the morning air and freeze my toes off.

It was 47F here this morning when I went outside to pee on an anthill.

That's way too cold for me.

Only down to 60 here, but the wind made it feel worse.
Might have to put shoes on tomorrow...or sleep later.

Out for a while.

Have a good one!

Yeah, I'm guessing low 50s here unless we get some clouds and the wind dies off a bit. Forecast is for 20 and gusts.

Don't know if you ever checked out Blackberry Smoke. Saw them at Bear Creek. Kinda Allman Brothers, Eagles. That classic rock sorta but new. This one is maybe more twang than most of them but has mention of a pony..

Hi ya kids hi ya

Sanday plus 10:   1900 7 Nov., 2012

Power still off.  Food ok.  Heat ok.  Compadres eh.  Stress up there sometimes.  New wrinkles.  Icy slush under 2 -3 inches of wet snow.  We have been directed to use the new Mash or DMAT, 10 min from our normal hospital.  3-4 tents with canvas floor.  Cheap army style cots.  No unloading or turnaround and takes four to carry cot + patient over gravel.  Water leaks in snow and rain.  Oh well.   Good training for our coming 3rd world experience.   Transformers still exploding, sparking and now leaking precious bodily fluids.  Trees still coming apart.   Tides u,p slightly but freezing ice on wires and trees a concern.  Good news the Bud Light sign at the local store was lit.  Symbol of progress.  Or beacon in a sea of storms.  Churches and City Hall still wo power.  Gas becoming more available.   Showers now at three per week.   Family and most friends ok some lost a lot.

Just turned on the tube to see if there was any news.
That not quite frozen stuff has got to be the worst!

I'm not going to complain one bit about the 52 degrees at 0700.

Supposed to be 34*F tonight!

the Wolf Spiders will be trying to get in tonight!

I already put about 12 of those Tomcat Glue strips all over the inside of the garage and caught 3 of them in the last few days.:)

Can't even imagine being hit by a cane/noreaster and ten days later by a snowstorm/noreaster. :(

Sent Goofy a WU-mail also to get his address.
Nothing yet.

Have to get to Church to duplicate DVD's, back later.

Good Mornin', Rob!

We're "just chillin'" around here, too, only for different reasons. We were lucky to escape the core of the messy Nor'Easter which went through much of New England overnight. There's currently only a coating of melting snow on the ground for ambience, but should disappear totally with an approaching warmup to the 60's (YEAH!) by Saturday.

Hopefully, Mother Nature will give the Northeast a much needed rest after making up for last season's unusually warm dry spell. Wish the Northeast could relive that wonderfully warm winter (despite drought) all over again. Ah well!

Hope the weather's better in Florida, etc. and that life is treating you kindly.

Hey Guys!

Thanks for the posts, sorry been distracted by stuff I'm supposed to do today. Did finally see some weather reports out of the NE. What a mess! And people using candles to try to keep warm. A lot of anger and I don't blame them. I'm angry too.

Now, for those of you who do have electricity and are due for some comic relief, the movie recommendation of the day is:

We Bought a Zoo!
Cute, funny, heartwarming.

Good morning Rob:
"After the Thrill"
Maybe I'll watch that movie tonight. Gunther and I are going over to build a big double door on the little shed we put up on my #2 daughter's place.
I've got the materials blanked out for the two ~ 4' x 8' doors and the only thing I haven't figured out is how to make a weather proof astragal:
http://www.westonwoodsolutions.com/astragals.html
On two big doors that meet at a ~ 127 degrees.
