Hey, don't catch "all" the lobster.
Save some for me, I'll be down soon enough.
Dude, I went down to the boat ramp at Harry Harris, to see who was in the bay that we are going to go, it over looks the oceanside, and there were 3 guys in the water poaching and had a spear as well. FMP I thought would of hung there for the day, but no they are sitting in their car on the bayside where one of their boats are docked doing J sheet. On top of that they have been advertising the FMP # for people to call in. They make all these flipping rules and for wat excactly. To enforce them sometime in the future.
Rules are for those who follow the rules.
Jail is for those who don't.
:)
Seriously if these kids had got a ticket, well older teenagers, the parents would of kicked them into next week. Talkin over a grand easy and a spot in the whos cow.
They have cut down on the Water Nazis due to NO MONEY. They have missed many revenue raising opportunities alone thse last few days. So be it
If this is what happens to guys that Retire, I think I'll keep working....
heheheheheh, good one, Sheph.
By the way, where is the Skipper. ?
Huh???
Speak English
:)))
Yup...this is what happens.
Skipper who?
:)
Go to bed
:)))
Quite right to correct me. A small lapse of Respect on my part.
I refer, of course, to The Right Honourable Captain Hood.
Member of the Bar, the Bilge, the Galley, and of course the Poop Deck.
Hey Pottery, go back to page 5 and read Rob's comment #250.
Someone he knew didn't make it.
He might be at the funeral.
He will be back soon.
He told us to carry on and stuff.
It is still 91* here with a heat index of 98*
At 845 PM, thats dread as you would say. :)
Hitting the sack now. Right after I load the coffee pot :)) Wish me luck
77*F in Macon this morning
Forecast to hit 102* with 112 heat index again
Think I will go back to bed. :)
Looking forward to that.
Rainy night here with thunder and stuff.
Damp and dank this morning.
Have to go to the Doc to find out whether a herd of Jumbies has not taken up residence in my right ear.
Started annoying me yesterday, and now is hurting deep within.
Maybe I should try to clear it out with my hammer-drill ?

Gee, I don't know about that one el Pottyson.
Jumbies do in fact come in herds as you described. But, they do seem to prefer pasture over residence. The tell tale proof that they are indeed Jumbies is if you seem to be hearing hundreds of little feet trampling through your ear. Maybe it's Jumbies just occasionally leaving the pasture to hide in your ear to get out of the rain. I see no reason to take them to task over such an innocent act, though.
If not, might I suggest considering Wookies.
Wookies on the other hand are solitary by nature and much prefer residence over pasture.
The tell tale sign that would be a dead giveaway for Wookieitis, is if you only hear a single set of heavy feet trampling through your ear.
My Mother however, would have used the same treatment for both Jumbies and Wookies alike.
A teaspon full of olive oil heated in a spoon and dumped down your ear canal.
Does this hurt? Duh...hell yeah it does. But, it runs those dang critters out.
So, who do you trust? My Dear departed saint of a Mother or some fancy pants Medical Doctor wearing his ice cream shoes with some fancy pants sheepskin on his fancy pants wall?
...Who obviously never knew my Mother.
:)
I do wish I had read your Mother's advice earlier.
As is is, I have returned from the ice-cream-shoed Doc with antibiotics and a portion of Numbing Pills.
He detected a rampant lurgy deep in the recesses of my inner ear obviously trying to invade my brain.
But the Tablets will send it packing, he assures me.
The Numbing Pills are working fine, too.
Yeah, no sign of him at all.
He said his Lady was away for a few days.
Perhaps she returned, and he has swooned at the sight of her smiling face.
Meantime: I have not had a pain in the ear for some years but I had my share. The Doctors did all kinds of wizardry and came up with:
1) Never put anything smaller than your elbow in there.
2) take these antinflamatories and decongestants and antibiotics and some kind of ear guck.
But whatever happens:
3) DO NOT USE Q-TIPS.
So I tried and the dullness and itching would not go away - it does not "sound" like you have whatever I had but I don't want either. Finally quit the guck and chased the itching about with numerous Q-tips.
Upshot:
The outer ear should be dry. Water and "ear drops" are wet or oily.
I hope (and believe) you don't have any small critters renting there. If that is the case take Sheph's Mom's advice.
I have been dealing with a small problem in my right leg,
caused by the "simple proceedure" Dr. Frankenstein 2 did on my varicose vein.
Nothing to worry about really, just another little side effect they don't talk about
in the instruction sheet. It will be a cold day in hell before I let this bozo do the other leg. :)
Now, back to the ear and hammer drill, don't use it.
Swampy will let you borrow his 50 foot long Roto-Rooter steel cable he clears sewer pipes with.
It will do a much better job than the hammer drill.
No charge for the medical advice by the way. :)
I remember the Rockpile, and the Razorback as well.
Spent a little time up there myself back in the day.
45 years ago, amazing how time flies, eh?
Keep the laughs, get rid of the baggage. :)
I think he loaned it to Dr. Frankenstein 2.
:)
You know, I bet Swampy would have done a better job!!!
I wonder what he charges???
Are you sitting down boys and girls?
Todays forecast for Macon Georgia = 104*F
And that is the temp, not the heat index. :(
We miss Niceville Florida. Big time.
Was up at 3:00 am taking pain-zappers, and the thing is most Annoying this morning.
I like the sound of the 50' long router, and if I can't find Swampy I'll have to resort to a cold-chisel and ball-pien hammer.....
I don't enjoy discomfort.
Later>>>>>>>>
Tell the kids to move to Fla and you'll follow them???
:)))
Forecast high here today near 95F.
I can deal with that.
Returning to a mostly fruit and vegetable diet and occasionally jogging along the creek bed (obstacle course), weather extremes don't seem to bother me as much.
Sweets and rib eyes are definitely only once a week.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder :)
And some world class boomers too.
Snakers...hope your leg torture has lessened :)
"NO LOBSTER REPORT"???? What's up with that?
Hey Arkers, haven't checked in cause I have been CATCHING lobbys, (no not lynchen pollys)
Yesterday we were up at the cocks breath, yours truely was hung over after a bunch of Fosters, so no breakfast sandwiches or nothing. the boys only got coffee cause I had it ready to go the night before, I did how ever throw mayo, ham, cheese and bread in a bag and threw it in the cooler for later.
We got our limit of 18 yesterday for the 3 of us, and today we put the rods on the boat to go fishing but... hey lets just check out our spots again, pipes are the best plus a few holes and we got five. but bloody hell any little bit of debre was turned over, of course we turned it back, but what are some folks thinking. lobbys need a space to hide under, boggles the mind.
So that is the keys lobby report,
