Welcome to The Ark

Welcome to the 4th annual "The Ark Music Festival"

This is something that we've done every year for the past 4 years. Find your favorite tunes and post a YouTube, talk about your favorite bands or songs, post an inspirational lyric, or just hang out, listen to the tunes and chat.

It's always good clean fun.

For those who don't know how, or have been having issues posting videos, I've updated the help files. Just click here and read post number 6.

Here is a link to the previous blog.

"Why is that you ask? I'm glad you asked that question!"

Well, I had the answer all by myself right there on the tip of my tongue, and then I read Lord Pottery's post, and then I had to make myself a well deserved concoction, and then I had to listen to bogon's post, by that time I needed another drink, and then I had to search the tubes for a song to post, and then I needed to go outside and pee, and then I needed another drink, by that time I forgot what I wanted to post so I had to go back to the tubes after I made another drink, no not the one about "trainer eaten alive by tiger", it was actually music...what was I talking about???

Oh yeah...

Better get on the bike.

Hi Pottery!

I don't know about the rest of them,
but SugarBear and I are in the house with
all the lights out, the overhead fans on,
the AC is down to 73*F, and all the blinds are closed.

Why is that you ask? I'm glad you asked that question!

At 230 PM the temp here in Macon hit 101*

The heat index is 112*

We are not going outside until its dark. :)

Indeed.
I have been wracking my braun all day long trying to find an answer to that question.

I am very glad you cleared it up.

Rumour was rife, you know.....
The neighbours (when asked what was going on) used words like "romantic interlude" and "pajama parties" and stuff.
Didn't believe a word of that, myself, although I have to admit I was filled with envy at the thought....

Sorry to hear of The Heat.
Was a real nice one here with scattered showers and gentle breezes.

Well !
I knew you guys were pretty laid-back and dormant these days.
But 15 hours without a post is carrying things a bit far don't you agree ?

I can only assume that there is a Flurry of Activity, keeping you otherwise occupied.
So this is just to say, "Carry On!"

So, today's weather report for Macon Georgia:

105*F heat index.

Forecast for Tuesday: 108*F heat index.

Need rain!

If I could I'd gladly send you our rains and milder temps.

I've worked in that latitude before. It can be brutal.

Upper end is sweeping by me.
Hope that counter clockwise spin will hurry up and spin.
Worst is just south hopefully headed NW.

Pretty good winds.
Gusting up to 70degrees and better on the spanish moss scale.

:))

Nice. I like that.

Sky is clearing out this evening.
About 1" for the day, mostly dribbles. No wind at all.
Nice wave coming off A. again though, and the ITCZ is pretty damp all the way.

Does Mrs. Pott know you have a bunch of young, well-endowed women helping you? What are you paying them?

The mind boggles.... :)

They are working for Incentives :):))
Especially the top-heavy ones.
The fragile ones, I sent them away......

But they have tired me out.

----

this is the only place I know, where an innocent, innocuous comment like the one I made can be so udderly twisted around.
Well done, YLee, heheheheheh

We already had 5 inches of rain from this wave and here come more Thunderstorms. Getting pretty noisy outside.

The Wetting!
Good name for it.

Pottery,
I'm good, thanks. Getting hot though.
Dad has a carb that needs rebuilt.
Sounds like a better way to spend the next hour or so than stringing wires in an attic.

BTW...I think the ITCZ got hung up on your weather vane again.
Might wanna check that out!

Looks so !
Keep an eye on this wave though, it looks like a Good One!

Moving 1 Pottery Studio from the garage into the New Studio.
Heavy lifting, and hundreds of small, fragile, top-heavy things....

Oh what FUN !!!

High of 90F/Rain up at my end.

Sounds good to me.

Good chance of rain all week. Not good for farms and roadways still under water from "The Wetting".

Heading out for some heavy labor before the heat sets in or the rain falls down.

Back later.

RE: shooting hot vodka

Took own advice which is totally not in my job description, and swirled some Seagram's extra smooooth vodka over ice, drained and threw it back. Good Times

From one of your all time favorites, my friend.
You are a free bird now.
And a hero...not to be forgotten.
God rest.
