Celebrating 40 years
My WU Pal Pottery and his lovely lady, depicted above, will celebrate 40 years of blissful oneness this weekend.
My heartfelt congratulations to the happy couple!
My wishes for many more wonderful years together.
In celebration, I am announcing:
The 3rd Annual Ark Music Festival.
(yes, I know...I'm a few months late this year.)
So join me in commemoration of this joyous event by posting music and greetings to Lord and Lady Pottery.
Have good clean fun!

Da Rules of Da Boat
|By: RobDaHood, 7:22 PM GMT on August 19, 2011||+1|
The rules of this blog are a little more restrictive than WU in general.
By posting on my blog, you agree to abide by these rules.
Be nice, have good manners, conduct yourself as if you were a guest in my home.
The conversation may get spirited at times, but personal attacks are prohibited.
Controversial topics such as Politics, Religion, Global Warming, etc are also prohibited as it has been my experience that such topics tend to be counterproductive and devisive in this format.
I don't have time or the inclination to follow you all around on other blogs and see who is doing what to whom. If you get in a scuffle on other blogs or by wumail don't drag me into it and don't bring it to my blog.
Have a sense of humor. We play here...it is supposed to be fun. If something bothers you, try writing a note in a friendly tone to the blogger who posted it explaining why. It has been my experience that most problems stem from the fact that the written word is an imperfect form of communication. It is easy to take something in a way that was not intended.
By the same token, read your post twice and try to make sure it communicates what you are really trying to say as effectively and won't inadvertently upset someone.
I try for a PG rating on this blog. Mind your language and subject matter. I really don't want stuff here that I would be embarrassed to have my mother or my teen nieces read...they do occasionally peek in.
In the past I have deleted posts that I thought might cause trouble the poster, my self, or someone else even when posted by people that I consider real life friends. It doesn't mean I don't like you or that I didn't like the post. It's just to avoid trouble.
If you have a question or a problem you may contact me for an opinion.
In the above, my decisions are the final word. I don't care what they do on other blogs, this one is mine. It is supposed to be a fun place where people are friendly and conduct themselves properly. If you have a problem with that, there are lots of blogs from which to choose.
So, play nice, treat each other with respect, and have fun.
It's not that complicated.

Prayers for 'Snake
|By: RobDaHood, 11:06 AM GMT on August 19, 2011||+0|
Got a call just after 9 am from RTL's wife.
Well, seems RTL went outside and got himself a spider bite and the doctor was worried about risk of infection so the knee, which I think is held together only by sheer stubornness at this point, will have to wait a bit longer.
I'll bet he's fit to be tied, but good that the doc is playing it safe.
(to be continued)
My Good Blog Buddy RTLSNK aka: Chris, Ranger Rick, etc. and former Airborne Ranger apparently jumped out of one too many airplanes during the course of his military career, or maybe got blown out of one two many jeeps...who knows, but for what ever reason, he wore one of his knees completely out.
He is having knee replacement surgery this morning at 9 am. Eastern in Warner Robbins, GA.
Your thoughts, & prayers would be greatly appreciated.
