How capitalism deals with Drugs

Let's take a few moments to examine how backwards capitalism is when dealing with harmful drugs.

1, If something is bad, ban it (good idea).

2, The evil people who were using the substance revolt, and even steal and kill one another (and more importantly innocents,) in an attempt to access banned substance.

3, Government caves and un-bans the evil substance.

4, Multiple evil generations addict themselves to the evil substance, making things worse than ever before.

5, Most of the time, an addict isn't going to vote for what's right for themselves, never mind everyone else, because they are evil, so it sticks indefinitely.

Now let's take a look at what capitalism does with good drugs.

1, Restrict it to require a prescription.

2, Honest patients are penalized, and must visit the doctor every month or three, and pay out lots of money just to get their prescription re-written.

3, The base price for the medicine (before generics are made,) is as high as the company can possibly make them, even though the drug actually only costs a few cents per pill to make.

So let's see what is in a typical pharmacy.

In the front of the store are cigarettes, which poison the user and everyone around them, which can be bought over the counter. They are also in every convenience store in the nation, and in nearly every other store in the nation as well.

In the back of the store are medicines, which are for saving someone's life, and they require a 3 or 4 step prescription process to obtain.

When will the madness stop?

Every time a person lights up, they are killing themselves or an innocent by-stander. Producing or smoking cigarettes is manslaughter, maybe even murder.

Now here is something I agree with, as a teenager I have to suffer listening to the idiots in my grade who attempt to claim that "weed" and marijuana is good for a person.

The feds should just burn every pot plant they see, no mercy for those who partake in it.
