New PWS Dashboard!

Hi PWS owners!
Not sure if you have noticed yet but the new PWS dashboard is almost complete and is close to being launched. This page will soon replace the history page. It has all the same information as the old history page, just a new look and feel. We are still working out some bugs and adding features so your input is welcome at this point. If you haven't found it yet, from your PWS history page, there is a banner at the top that says, "The PWS Dashboard has been updated! View this station." If you click on that banner, you will see your data in the new format.

Below is a screenshot of the old page,

And this is the how the new page will look:

The layout is clean, less cluttered and the data is much more accessible. The dashboard defaults to show the current conditions and forecast for that specific station, with the weather station details and location in the left-hand corner. My favorite feature of this updated look and feel is the "Graphs & History" section. On the left hand side of the page, under the "About this PWS" section, you see tabs for "Current Conditions", "Graphs & History", "Nearby PWS", and "Get a PWS Widget". If you click on the "Graphs & History" tab, you will see the new interactive history graph:

You can see the detailed data by hovering over the graph, or by switching the tab above the graphs from "Graphs" to "Tables". Also, the time functionality has been updated and easily allows you to search through data for the past week, month, year, or custom time.

Another great new feature is the "Nearby PWS" tab. See how many stations are nearby and compare your data to theirs.

We will also be adding to the PWS Widgets soon so make sure to check back often. Also, any feedback is welcome on what data you would like to see on the PWS Widgets. These are the same as the Weather Stickers we offer in other places of our site but with the data from your weather station!

As you are poking around on the new PWS Dashboard, make sure to let us know what your favorite features are! Also let us know what you would like to see added to the new PWS Dashboard. There is a "Give Feedback" button on the bottom left-hand side of the page. Please submit your requests there. Thanks!

no live webcam update on personal weather station page. Old application updated webcam image in real time. Now one has to do a manual refresh to see a new image.

Actually, the old page gives you much more history data at a glance than does the dashboard.

I like the new format - but the elevation for my station now shows 7 feet instead of the correct 25 feet. I assume that the elevation has been converted to meters, but has been incorrectly identified as feet.

Personal weather station owners need the ability to set correct time zone. Installed 2nd station yesterday and time zone is incorrect. No way to adjust because its greyed out in settings. Had the same problem when trying to set timezone for Valentine Ne. station so removed station from WU network.
Coordinates are correct both locations. This causes all kinds of issues with data off by a full hour including historic max/min temperatures for the station.

Quoting 1. eggo4:
Apparent problems with the new:

Where are the daily MAX, MIN, and Average?
Where are the Monthy MAX, MIN, and Average?

Where are the depictions of the nearby stations?

How do I return to the old format once sampling the new format?

After clicking on the "Graphs & History", you can switch from "Graphs" to "Tables" to see the actual data. This is where you can change the time frame from "Today" to "Past Month". All the same info is there: daily max, min, average, and monthly max, min, average.

Nearby stations can be found by clicking "Nearby PWS" on the left side of the page.
