Some rain is in the forecast, starting as early as tonight. The WunderMap feature on
w under ground dot com has some new features, helpful for hourly forecasting: Future hourly settings for radar, satellite cloud cover, and several others, including tornado. It seems to display changes every 2-3 hours, which would follow the NWS reports in many areas. I will use it tonight (if I can) when rain is imminent.
• Observations Feb ΙΙΙ MMX11
dayday ∑ O.87 inches rain since 4 AM. 4 hundredths in the past hour. 13 hundredths in the last 15 minutes. Later...0.69 inches The Anti-matter cloud is working well.![]()

btw ∑ is the Greek and Mathematical symbol sigma for Sum, or Sum Total. In case you're wondering about the missing 1 hundredth of an inch in the totals above, it evaporated! Š actually, it rained a slight amount around 4 AM, if you could even measure 0.01 inch of rain.
• CERN is derived from the acronym for the French
Conseil
Européen
pour la
Recherche
Nucléaire
or European Council for Nuclear Research, a provisional body founded in 1952 with the mandate of establishing a world-class fundamental physics research organization in Europe; home of the Large Hadron Collider.
Observations
It is now 1040 CDT Sunday. There was a 32° windchill at 9:20 AM accompanied by a N | NW gust of 22 mph. Completely cloudy-overcast. Temp has risen One Degree since the 0713 CDT supposed sunrise. After the NWS [national weather service] noticed they issued this 1038 AM discussion:: "As a result of these trends...I will back off the becoming partly cloudy wording...and ride mostly cloudy for the rest of the day."
♀ ♀ Just in 1130 Windchills are in the lower 30's all over OK | N TX but not in LA.

WindChill went below freezing this morning at 3:50, dropped to 29° at 6:15 and remains brrry now. A nice link for surface weather conditions updated hourly with high resolution options as well. HiRes uses zoom, displays the weather station initials plus windspeed|direction, cloud cover, temp, and dewpoint. Will blog more, possibly later Š

Feb 7th 2012 It appears we need to update yesterday's forecast. Click Here. It rained 0.11 in. and the overnight low was 9° higher than forecasted. Also, even the Weather Underground Best Forecast showed a 10% chance of rain at 6 AM—when it surprisingly rained! Must be oneoutof ten is better than none, as shown on yesterday's 3:10 PM NWS forecast above.
The rain fell slow, down on all the roofs of uncertainty
I thought of you and the years and all the sadness fell away from me
And did you know....

There are conflicting forecasts between WU Best Forecast and NWS for tonight.
2 AM Friday Morning Update
There were conflicting forecasts earlier. That has changed, as all weather forecasts and forecasters do. I went to bed, very early...with the chickens...as is the expression for rural people living rural lives with rural livestock. But I am not rural— justa cosmopolite hiding in a 'rural mural'.

Orange is a soothing color, orange roses are less common and smell very nice! Torri was an orange rose too.
